@matereya‘s art WRECKED me down so i wrote this drabble because of neck kisses. and glove porn. and size difference, that too.

Ren advanced, his powerful muscles uncoiling as he made short work of the distance between them. The sight of his approach caused her rational thought to finally kick in. She backed up, fumbling, her retreat hampered by the stubborn, inexplicable magnetism that continued to plague them. 

His eyes glittered, and what she saw in his depths set her heart to racing. Lazy, unabashed hunger. His stare consumed, stealing the breath in her lungs, leaving her confused and weak. 

The surrealism of the moment dissolved as his body pressed against hers, solid and undeniably real. 

She jolted, head tilted back to gaze up at him, speechless, the angle reminding her that he stood a full head taller. 

The motion was disarmingly seamless, and she was barely aware of the hands that arose to claim her, black leather whispering at the small of her back, brushing over her cheek to slide into the curtain of her hair. 

“Shh, Rey. Just let me, let me do this to you…” 

Her body tensed in nervous anticipation as his head descended, the warmth of his lips ghosting over her throat. 

His satisfied hum was the only warning as he settled on a tender area of her neck. 

Then, he began, and it was all she could do to cling to him.

5/3 Update!

This, I believe, will hopefully be the second-to-last update regarding the zine.

Behold!

Into The Rift has arrived!  We were really fortunate - we were one of the final pieces submitted to the printing house before they stopped accepting orders due to the health crisis.  We are really grateful they agreed to honor and continue to print rather than refund entirely.  It took longer as they took proper social distancing measures, but we feel it was absolutely worth it.

Like the Royal Alliance zine, Into the Rift is also hardbound, linen wrapped and stamped on the front in foil with some silver hand-holding.

So.  Now what?

Now, I do have a couple things left to do, including put the charms in baggies (since we did have some concerns about the NSFW merchandise - the tie up charms will be sheltered in an silver bag (to match the cover!) so you’ll know what’s safe to open in front of your friends/family.)  I need to finish adding the clasps onto some of the charms and get the books in their protective cello covers.

I will do a final update once everything is prepared for shipment - as well as send an email out to everyone who purchased the zine to double check I still have the correct address to send it to.

Once sent, those who purchased the PDF-only versions will receive that copy in the mail.  (If you ordered digital zine + merch, your merchandise will also be on the way.) 

The last phase will be that I’ll take inventory of what’s left of the merch - including a few books - and then post those quantities to the bigcartel site.  (There will a massive load of extra pins if anyone wants in on those, by the way.)  And I’ll leave those up unless they run out.

Thank you for your patience!  This zine has been an undertaking and taken longer than expected, but we are so excited for the final product - and we hope you are, too!
