For anyone who needs to hear it:
  • you cannot help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves
  • you don’t have to stay with someone who is sick if they treat you badly. no matter how many times they use their illness like a weapon
  • some people are not capable of change. no matter how many promises they make, they cannot and will not change
  • you do not owe anyone your right to be alive. they may have helped you through a tough time but you do not owe them anything if they are not treating you the way you deserve
  • you are allowed to leave someone who takes joy in making you feel inferior and doesn’t allow you your own agency
  • you are the only person in control of your life and anyone who tries to take that from you is not worth your time. you are allowed to remove them from your life
  • some people don’t want what’s best for you and they are taking advantage of you to further their own goals. you don’t deserve to be someone else’s pawn, you are allowed to fight back
  • people who try to change you to fit their mould do not deserve a place in your life. you are perfect as you are and it is not their choice to make about who you are
  • you are worthy of someone who will love you for who you are and see you on a level equal to them. you are worthy of someone who supports you and doesn’t make life a competition
  • you are not selfish for putting yourself first and anyone who says that you are doesn’t know you and doesn’t deserve to know you

i’ve decided that imma offer my time and writing in exchange for you donating to the black lives matter movement. i’ll be starting at $5 for 500 words and $1 for 100 words beyond that, just DM me proof of your donation as well as a ship and a prompt and i’ll write it up for you ASAP. if you give me permission, i’ll post it on here and/or on my AO3. the least we can do is support our siblings in arms as they fight against an unjust and corrupt system.
