I was v obv less pretty and my hair never dyed that successfully but ye
this was mostly an experiment with the tiny sunnies since I found a CC pair that looks exactly like a pair I had back then but they’re back en vogue and I can’t find them anywhere ;_;

A somber sort of preset inspired by The Vanishing of Ethan Carter! Utilizes warmer lighting, a spooky vignette, muted colors, and lots of deep shadows. There’s also a fog effect that you can toggle on and off with 5 if you feel like it’s a little too much, because it can be rather bright at night.
-You need to use Reshade 3.0! I don’t think this will work with 3.1.
-To install, be sure to drop the file here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
-Click here for a handy guide on installing Reshade if you’re new to it!
-You need to have edge smoothing and post-processing effects turned off for the DOF effect to work!
-That being said, this preset with its full DOF effect on was made for taking screenshots, and is probably too taxing for regular play. HOWEVER, if you turn off the DOF, it actually works pretty well for gameplay - at least on my system. Your mileage may vary depending on your specs, so take this with a grain of salt.

Hellu, I’m well aware that my links aren’t working. From what I’ve read in the forums about this, it seems like it can take up to 72 hours before links automatically start working again, so I decided to wait for three days. Well, it has been three days and nothing has changed, so I sent an email to support and now I’ll just have to wait some more. ʅ(´-ω-`)ʃ
I’m still waiting for a reply from support and have honestly run out of patience. If this is because of bandwidth, it could easily happen again and again and the time it takes before the links will work again will just be longer and longer. So, hubby encouraged me to get my own domain and use my own server instead. Once I have things up and running, I’ll be sure to replace the links and you can download as much as you want. ♥︎

There’ve been quite a few create-a-sim challenges floating around tumblr lately, but I wasn’t really connecting with any of the prompts, so I decided to make my own!
RULES & GUIDELINES
- May only use ONE sim. Download someone from the gallery, create your own, use an EA townie, whatever. Make sure you’re 100% pleased though because you’ll be stuck with them till the end!
- CAN NOT change Sim’s genetics, body shape, etc. (Hair, contacts and such are free game, but try not to alter anything that couldn’t be easily changed irl.)
- I’d appreciate it if you included a link back to this post. Thanks!
- Since this was inspired by the style of lookbooks, try to include each outfit’s corresponding CC links when applicable. Not only is this super helpful for fellow simmers, it will also save you from having to answer tons of WCIFs.
- Get creative! Take your screenshots right from CAS, pose your Sim in a parallel in-game setting, or PhotoShop your own backdrop. The choice is yours!
- I tried to make each category as gender neutral as possible, so feel free to interpret each prompt however you see fit! Just make sure to stick to the rules (or not, it’s just a game) and have fun!
P.S. - don’t worry about trying to post one a day, or finishing in a certain amount of time. Skip over prompts you don’t like, go out of order, or wait 5 months between posting them (like I did) if you want!

Hey so since I discovered Anlamveg’s hairs some time ago I’ve been having the need to have them all in some more colours. I’ve been steadily working at these for the past week and I’m proud to present: all the Anlamveg hairs (except Oko Ruto, on that a bit later) in the Witching Hour palette by Pyxis!
There are ten hairs, each in 35 colours (swatch), enabled for all frames, all fashion choices, for teen to elder sims. They all have standalone thumbnails but you will need the meshes for all of them.
Credits: @anlamveg for the incredible hair meshes (thank you for the quick reply when I asked if you allowed recolours!) @pyxiidis for the Witching Hour palette; also they already recoloured the Oko Ruto hair in their palette here (go and grab it, it’s so emo) so that’s why I didn’t do that hair
btw here’s the key so you wouldn’t have to guess which hair is which

Here I go again abusing Pyxis’s cc
I haven’t had much time to download some more so I’ve been playing around with what I have. And the alien overlays are irresistible tbh
Also I Am Not A Weeb I swear (well maybe a little bit)
Yeah... Back to the Sims after 3.5 years and straight into recolouring hair...
So I saw this really charming hair by @hystamine and decided that would be my first foray back into CC. I love how it looks and the recolouring process is so much easier than before, mostly thanks to the palette option in S4S and the efforts of the amazing creators such as pyxis. All 35 colours in a single package, it’s a standalone recolour tho with a custom thumbnail.

I got a couple of asks about this tattoo, and since I hadn't had any time (nor was I in the mood for CC, tbh) today after unsuccessfully trying to retexture Artemis, I decided to share it as today's Simblreen gift. I'm sorry to say it doesn't look nearly as good in white :( so you're getting only a black version.
