Hey! Welcome! I'm a mess. Just to let you know that up front.

I post screencaps from Criminal Minds (Hotch & Morgan, separate and together, usually) almost every day - if I haven't gotten lazy and forgotten to stuff my queue full.

I write...a lot. I have 1.5 million words (and counting) on AO3 and most of them are about Hotch.

Requests are always open, but there are a few guidelines. First and foremost, please know that sending in a request is not a guarantee it will be written.

  1. Please be patient with me. I've got about one zillion irons in the fire between IRL and the WIPs in my folder already, so if you send a request just know it might be a while before it sees some words.
  2. You can send me your hcs, but please don't ask me to make cool hc lists or anything because I am tragically bad at them. I've tried. I've failed. It's not for me. I love to see what you guys think though, and I love to talk about Hotch and Morgan.
  3. Hotch and Morgan are my OTP. At this point it's a stretch for me to write other CM ships, but I'll go for it if it's Hotch/Blackwolf or Hotch/Will Lamontagne. Other than that, I'll write gen/platonic as long as it's Hotch or Morgan centric. I love to write Jessica Brooks and Sean Hotchner and Morgan's family.
  4. You can ask for a moodboard - I'm not very good at them but I do really enjoy making them. See rule 3 for characters I'd prefer to stick to. (You can find some I've made using the tag masterwords moodboards)

Oh, but Hotch regretted that decision because the unsub Jason is referring to killed 2 boys before going to trial and being found not guilty, and then when released, killed another one. 😩

not me waking up and thinking about hotch's intimate knowledge of the bible and his complete silence when morgan and rossi duke it out over religion. and when morgan is asked about it, he looks at hotch and they share this moment.

the only time we really get close to hotch's own feelings is at the end of demonology, but that's only a glimpse. it's noncommittal. and it's derek asking because he's always searching his own soul and looking to hotch for clarity. (we do also get that look in "epilogue" when morgan, prentiss and reid talk about seeing the light when you die. the one that says so much without a single word because he never shares. because he died too, but he won't make this about him and what he saw and how it affected his faith or lack thereof. we get these glimpses but never anything to sink our teeth into.)

in conclusion: he's fascinating, and i want to put him on a little tray and poke at him with tweezers to see what makes him tick.

the way sean didn’t go to haley’s funeral but aaron immediately came to his rescue, with no hesitation, when he needed help

#that's my love right there#the complicated relationship between brothers#who lived two different lives two different childhoods under the same roof#aaron who comes to sean's rescue but judges him every step of the way#and doubts him and is hurt by him and for him and loves him but in a way that is so overbearing that it pushes sean further away#and then that ending...#the spark of hope there#i would lay down my life for the hotchner brothers#aaron hotchner#sean hotchner#aaron who wishes sean would just grow up#and sean who wishes aaron would just be his brother instead of a surrogate father for once#sean who doesn't want to see aaron because it's always a lecture
