One thing I like about Pixar films is how the happy ending isn’t always what you think it’ll be. All he could pick up was the person’s gender. Was his scanner glitching? This was going to make the interrogation a little more difficult.

Suspect expects to be killed. Guilty accomplice?

“Rest assure, I’m no killer. Even if it turns out you played a vital role in this murder, all I could do is arrest you. However, even that’s not necessary if you just cooperate with me.” Connor folded his hand neatly in front of him. “Perhaps we could start with your name?”

“My name is Yohioloid,” he explained after sighing, “I’m a Vocaloid entertainement unit. Or I was supposed to be.” He looked at Connor sharpening his eyes, but in reality he was tired of him already.

“Yohioloid,” Connor said, a slight look of confusion appearing on his face. “Are you saying that you’re an Android as well?”

What was wrong with his scanner? Why couldn’t he determine what the Poi’s model number was? He supposed this would mean that he would have to return to CyberLife for repairs. That was unpleasant.

“I’m afraid my scanner is acting up a bit. Would you mind telling me what model number you are? I’m not familiar with the ‘vocaloid’ line.”

“What?” Hio blinked, “Are you sure you aren’t a research robot in the South Pole? Like the ones that handle giant enemy crabs? Don’t you remember, this CyberLife of yours partnered with some Japanese conglomerate to create entertainment units.”

Hio slammed his palms on the desk, “Are you going to tell me you never heard of Mothertrucking Hatsune Miku, huh? Go to Japan and she’s mothertrucking everywhere! There’s Miku on the streets, Miku on the sheets and then they tried to piggyback on her success creating some useless copies, and I’m the most useless of them! PFX-VOC04!” He said, while showing his identification number under the arm.

What a temper this android had. Was this part of his programmed personality? Connor couldn’t understand why this was be attractive for the entertainment industry.

“Forgive me Yohioloid, my missions have nothing to do with music or our Japanese partners. Therefore, they’re not part of my knowledge. If they were to make their own detective line, I’m sure I would be informed. I must say though, I’ve never seen an android in good condition display such bitterness before. Is that what your character is known? Being jealous of this Miku droid?”
