Had to unfollow this one person on here cause they just would not stop making posts about how transfems on e getting periods is just made up symptoms and like, I don't have definitive proof I only have my and others experience but like how do you, as someone who is not on e, who has access to the same amount of studies looking into this with decent sample sizes as I do (none), feel so confident to say it's all just placebo and made up ? What makes you so confident ? Cause I gotta say after almost two years of nearly right on the dot once a month suddenly feeling nausea all week, taking the most unbelievable shits, feeling all my organs cramp, and having mood swings out the ass which always just so happens to line up with when the two people with uteruses in my house also get their periods, I feel like I have more data to work off of than you do

i think trans-affirming cisfeminism's problem is that it views trans people as a way of analyzing cis gender relations, so trans women are going from the status of cis men to cis women, & trans men vice-versa. there is no appreciation for "trans" as its own status, because that would require viewing transphobia as something the patriarchy does on purpose instead of like. something it trips into on its quest to oppress cis women exclusively. and this is also why by and large feminism (including trans feminists) has fucked sucked at talking about NB/GQ people's experiences without binarizing them
I've seen this sort of thing from trans women tbh.
It's like these women have taken cisfeminism's view of patriarchy, and tacked on "trans women are women, trans men are men", with the stipulation that trans women are uniquely targeted.
It offers no nuance when it comes to gendered oppression, arguing that all men benefit from patriarchy, ignoring marginalised men, particularly trans men.
I argue that all trans people suffer under the patriarchy on the basis of being trans, specifically because we deny the rigidity of assigned gender enforced by the patriarchy. A trans man only experiences "male privilege" insofar as he is seen as cis. The moment his trans status is revealed, it is revoked. Therefore, one cannot consider it a privilege.

I just learned that my medication is out of stock COUNTRYWIDE because America is restricting how much ADHD medication Australia is allowed to make... and they're just flat out ignoring Australia's request to meet to negotiate more.

Did somebody say power couple? You could do matching colour schemes or fabrics, coordinate your jewellery to each other's, or style your outfits around the same base piece (like a sleeveless top or a leather jacket). The two of you can be the extremely attractive intimidating couple that the entire party is equal parts jealous and afraid of.
I think my version of Killer would delight in a significant other who also wanted to dress up. Not only is it fun, getting to coordinate with someone he adores - especially considering the other two bad guys can hardly muster up the energy to change their shirts more than once a week - but it's also a creative way to show the whole world you're his. It soothes his itchy jealousy and possessiveness. All he has to do, if he sees someone getting too chummy with you, is come up and stand beside you; it couldn't be more clear you're a matching pair.
It's definitely an unusual way to mark someone. But it works.
