Hello! This is my first GoFundMe & I decided to do this because we’ve been through A LOT this past week. Kinomi is really sick & my sister is unable to pay for it all by herself. Information in this thread, but more on the page. 

Kinomi has something blocking her GI tract and if she cannot pass it out by herself, she will need surgery which is ~$1500. If we cannot do the surgery and she gets even more sick? The only other option would be to euthanize her. 

If you do not know about what has happened all week, tl;dr a scumbag stole my other dog. The entire thing is several tweets back if you’re interested in the details. Today, we just paid the tipper the reward money of $500. Today, we get news of Kinomi. (Thread of what happened to the other dog, Milo, is on my Twitter)

We are unable to help her, and my sister cannot pay for all of that by herself. I would like to help her as much as possible, so please spread this thread around. Even $1 helps. If she does not need surgery (we will find out tomorrow), there is still the costs of the x-rays/meds and anything else they include in the bill. My family has been through a lot with these pets and I want to try to help as much as possible. We’re really in a tight bind right now. Anything will help.

Emergency

As you can see, I’m kind of in deep trouble, and, while I hate begging, it’s pretty much the last thing I can do right now…

So, here’s the context: I live with my mother and sister. My mother cannot work for reasons I won’t get into here, and my sister is a student, so I’m the only real source of income in my family. I lost my job a month ago, because my contract ended, and my employer couldn’t renew it (I worked in a library and contracts are dependant on the town hall’s budget, and since they’re going to build a new school, they had to cut corners everywhere as a result).

Now, good news is that, in France, you get indemnities when you stop working, and the government, and more specifically an agency named Pôle Emploi; pays you roughly 80% of what you were paid when you worked for a few months, so you have time to bounce back up.

The bad news, however, is that the process sometimes takes a while to put itself in motion, and because I have legendary luck, I’m one of these people where it takes forever and a half for them to process my request. Which, in turn, is soon going to cause big problems with my bank, because if you stay in the negatives like I am for over a month, they sort of “block” your bank account, and limit the things you can do, which includes being unable to pay bills over a certain amount.

So, to keep things short, if I do not get 300€ (or roughly 344$ according to Google) by the end of the month, my family and I might be in big trouble… That’s why I come to you all this evening. Those who have talked to me know that I absolutely hate being indebted, but this is the only way I’ve found in this situation.
