It’s not a secret that my talent lies in yarn not photography. Ever since discovering mosaic overlay I am endlessly impressed with the creativity of the pattern designers. They are the real dreamers of the dreams. Stunning pattern by Nerd Princess Designs Made with 5 skeins of Caron One Pound by Yarnspirations(three black, two fig) and my LYKKE Crafts I hook. Started 4/27, finished 7/10 which feels like a record for me, for an afghan of this size.

@kj_faust asked me to make these Kitty Couches. Honestly the patterns were not complicated, but I completely underestimated the amount of yarn, foam, time, and labor! I can’t even tell you his delighted I was when my soot sprites from @missmollymonsters arrived. Could I crochet them myself if I was so disposed? Yes, I could, but it was worth every penny to NOT have to crochet BLACK EYELASH YARN. I may add a couple star crackers and wobbly arms, but it’s pretty perfect already.
