Red Candles Pt 2

VENTURE UPSTAIRS

The upstairs seems to have grabbed your attention the most and as you elect to head up the steps they creak and groan with age.  Feeling your way along the walls in the darkness you soon find the source of the thin beam of light, coming from a room at the other end of the landing.  The landing has a rail, overlooking the lower floor, a rather dangerous drop, not that you can see it in the dark of the building.

You continue on down the landing to the door that sits ajar, the beam of light coming from inside and granting some vision in the area around the door.  While there’s still not much to see what little light there is provides the silhouette of something on the ground just outside. Thin, flat and about the size of your hand and you stoop down to slowly scoop it up. The low lighting gives you a brief glimpse that its some sort of tarot card. You safely tuck it into a pocket or bag and glance back to the door.  As you lean in to peek through the gap, you spot a shape moving within, large and slightly bulky but it sort of skitters in an inhuman manner.  You reel back slightly caught off guard and as you do so, bump into what appears to be a tray on the ground, opposite to where the card had been.  Whatever it was inside seems to have heard you.

Your choices are as follows: 

Run. There’s another room further down the hall you might be able to hide in and it looks like you’d have enough time even if you aren’t exactly quiet about it. Maybe there’s something in the room to hide in or under. 

Open The Door. Maybe it’s not as bad as it seems? It hasn’t made a sound and just moving around, maybe its fine?  At least there will be enough light to see what it is.

Red Candles

Its 2:45am. It’s dark and in this secluded old mansion home its eerily silent. All the lights are off and its hard to see anything more than a foot in front of you.  Really the wiser choice would have been to stay int he car, honestly, but here you are, trapesing through Mark’s home in the dead of night wondering where he is, unable to turn on any lights with the power out and starting to get the horrible feeling of being watched.  Of course you are… You know all about this place and what horrors hide within. Why did you go inside again? Seriously a bad choice on your part but here we are nonetheless.  After some fair wandering about you’re left with currently two options.  - Venture Upstairs A dark and foreboding feeling as the steps go up into abyssal blackness, but there seems to be some small tiny beam of light coming from somewhere.  - Venture Outside There’s a lamp outside thats flickering and a little creepy looking but its light either way.

Hey all!

If all goes according to plan tomorrow, we can release Chapter 2 Part 1 this week. Since I work Fridays and Sundays, it’s much easier for me to release earlier in the week. Would people be able to play it then or should I bite the bullet and release it late in the week when I can’t fix issues for several hours, should people find them?

never rush a release people will have a much better time playing something in full with no bugs than an unfinished piece full of bugs I know its been a while since the last release but the wait will pay off ^.^

hey. important update on the TERF crawl.

if you’re in the UK, ESPECIALLY scotland, and you see ribbons in PURPLE, WHITE AND GREEN (the suffragette colours) those are TERF symbols. a bunch of terfs on twitter have been putting up these ribbons around places along with calling themselves ‘the new suffragettes’

@dragonlover123a​ you could try downloading the windows version and if it doesnt work try the mac version and see if either of them work If not then its likely not compatible with chromebook which would be sad, but it will be worth the insight either way and worth the look into.
