The Plot:

Asha Mae is an up in coming adventuring student from a world similar to ours—albeit somewhat in the past—but one where magic has existed and adventuring became a legitimate career choice.

However, she’s soon given the chance of every adventurer’s dreams when a wagon accident leads to her waking up in another world where the sun has become a thing of myth, and she’s taken in by one of the last few bastions of human kind: The Village of Lights.

There they worship their long-absent light goddess, Lucx, but it seems that something in the dark wants to snuff it forever. Not only did the previous priestess go missing, but no one seems to recall she existed. Can Asha figure out the mystery and bring back the light, or will she doom the village to darkness?

Hi, that’s me! Lesbian, autistic, and wanting desperately to scrape together enough money to move in with my long distance girlfriend in Maryland. This book has been a labor of love and frustration alike, growing up alongside me from early college, through finding out I was autistic, a mental breakdown, and now finally coming out.
