In the roughly half hour since Rockwell had left, Donnie's room was unusually silent. Today was just a checkup, and though the young turtle had been apprehensive, he was pleased at how far he had come since the incident. But Rockwell had been uneasy. Something was bothering him, much deeper than just concern over how Donnie's injuries were healing. He seemed somber and saddened when he left. And now the genius's room was silent where before, he had usually been heard on his computer while he rested. The question now was simple: what had he been told? And who would be the one to ask?

I’m gonna move!

For the record, all existing relationships and world building are going to remain in tact. There will be some minor verse tweaks, but for the most part think of this as a Spring Cleaning move.

The new blog has been created but I won’t be officially launching it until tomorrow evening so I can get past the 24 Hour Moratorium Tumblr imposes. That and I need to set up a theme and rules and individual pages and whatnot.

I’ll still be posting that starter call tonight, and the starters will all be posted on the new blog when it launches. All threads I’m keeping will be moved too.

I’m keeping this url of course. It’s kinda my brand. XD

So belatedly, I wanted to apologize for my lack of activity here. I have a lot I want to do and a lot of theories to share, but I've been weirdly apprehensive about my portrayal and I don't know why. So I'm thinking I'm gonna drop some threads (I'm keeping a few that are important to development and/or are plotted, or ones I just really want to keep). I mmmmmmaaaaaaay also archive this blog and move him to a new one but that's not super likely. I think I just need to clean the slate a bit. I also plan to revamp my verses a bit but I'll have more info on that later. I'll toss up a starter call tonight once I've got some stuff sorted. ❤️

He takes enough time to peek out of the lab to see some floor shenanigans. Then he squints, slowly retreats back into the lab, and closes the door.

someone: Hey Donnie, why do you like learning new languages? Donnie: Oh you know, the joy in discovery and learning, opening new books I can read, the usual. someone: Oh, that’s really ni- Donnie: It’s also increased my swearing vocabulary by like 150%. someone: O-oh.

Everyone blames Raph for Mikey swearing, but in reality he probably picked up a lot of it from Donnie.

Who learned most of it from Cassandra probably.
