SPN Femslash Week | Ruby 2.0/Anna
Rubyis alive andis sent to get Demon!Dean back to hell.
Do you know how to fight a battle? You strike fast and you don’t leave any survivors, so no one can go running to tell the boss. So next time, we go with my plan.
Anaïs Nin, from a diary entry featured in Linotte: The Early Diary Of Anaïs Nin (1914-1920 (via girlronanlynch)
Because Demon!Dean and Ruby would have gotten along really well or would have hated each other even more

supernatural universe alternation: Kristy x Sam | Ruby x Sam
It was really no accident that Ruby picked Kristy’s body as a vessel. When she knew damn well it would make him vulnerable to see a familiar face… Specially the one of someone he loved so much.
The one in which instead Sam having dated Jessica, he dated Kristy, the girl he was going to marry just before Dean came in the middle of the night and took him back into the hunting life. When he came back for her the next weekend and didn’t found her, Sam thought Kristy had abandoned him when in fact she had been in a accident during a night out and due to lack of information of her; she was listed as a Jane Doe in a hospital where she was in a comatose state until Ruby possessed her body.
Annaby AU: Anna finally decides to make a move.
“I never thought I’d fall for my polar opposite.”
Bret Easton Ellis from American Psycho
Anna/Ruby + the word devotion
They both knowwhat it’s like, having your life belong to someone else. To be worth nothingmore than what you can accomplish for the people in charge.
It’s a firstfor Ruby, not having a larger cause to fight for. Anna at least has someexperience being her own person. She tries to make it easier for Ruby but neitherof them is sure how to act; whatever it is they have is still too new.
What theyeventually settle into is uncomfortably familiar. A cycle of sacrificingthemselves for each other in whatever small way they can, of constantly tryingto put the other before themselves. It’s natural for them both to have a superior,so they become each other’s inferiors.
It takes them awhile to strike the right balance. Their attachment to each other becomes lessslavish as they learn, more a healthy allegiance. Eventually, it’s just aboutwanting to be together. About loving each other.
It’s aftertheir first fight – they can fight, now that they no longer fear what willhappen if the other leaves – that Anna pushes Ruby against the wall. In spiteof their anger, their first kiss is gentle.
