And then Elliot picked up his pie.

He looked down at it for a moment, contemplating. Thinking. Assessing, the way his logical mind often did.

And then he looked up at Bridget.

He took two steps forward. She paled.

“Elliot–” she said, warily, taking a step back. “Elliot, can I just– wait– wait– completely unrelated to the challenge I want to sincerely apologise for being so mean to you–” Her voice was shaking with laughter as he stalked across the stage towards her. “I misjudged you, and I’m so glad that we’re such good friends now–”

Bridget arched herself only slightly, but the closeness set his body on fire. She could’ve tilted her chin up and kissed him straight on the mouth. But he trusted her. She wouldn’t do it.  Whether he would was an entirely different story. He was almost salivating with anticipation, desperate to part those lips with his tongue and dominate her mouth as she went absolutely boneless in his arms. All it would take was one kiss. He looked down at her.  “Brig, you’d better–” “I’m not gonna let it happen,” she interrupted. “I know. I was gonna say you’d better back up before I do.” Bridget’s breath caught, and her eyes closed. He tilted slightly upward, touching his nose to hers and she shook her head with a smile. “You’re a fucking tease," she whispered. He let out a low chuckle. “Am I?” “Yeah, you are.” She shook her head at him again, letting out a low groan. Then she tilted her head back and pressed her lips to the tip of his nose, just like he’d done to her in the kitchen. They parted, and Lewie realised that, yeah, duh, they weren’t alone. His face went a bit warm. He didn’t mind that much. Wasn’t like the others didn’t know they had chemistry.  But Jamal was staring, open mouthed between the two of them. “God, I am so hard right now.”

Brig bit her lip, watching Flo walk up the stairs. “Though she did say if we ever wanted a third…”

Lewie had spat out his water.

So now, his cheeks were burning crimson as he slipped into bed with Flo. She keeled over laughing, setting Bridget off.

Elliot elbowed Bridget questioningly, and as she whispered it to him, Lewie watched the other man’s eyebrows almost hit his hairline. He glanced over at Lewie, shooting him a thumbs up, and the girls had fallen about themselves laughing again.
