This is Gordo, and he’s a big puppy. The kind with chonky floppy paws and a lot of extra fur + skin around his middle that’s he’s growing into by the day and I love him. • No joke, one of the best parts of our 6 week long Holiday Chalet journey every year is the dog watching, stalking, and petting scene. Hi there! We are really excited to officially share this project. Last Spring we were a part of a small group of fellow @Monmade artists & designers that were the inaugural #FMDR Fallingwater + Monmade Design Residency. (If you scroll back a bit you’ll see some photos from our life-changing weekend there in April 2019.) • . 

Our Residency task was to take advantage of unprecedented time in both the wonderful #Fallingwater house built by #FrankLloydWright for the Kaufmann family as well as at the divine High Meadow retreat, all to find inspiration in the home, grounds, and objects there so that we could create exclusive new products for the Fallingwater Museum Store in the 1st FMDR Collection. • . 

We were inspired by so many things, from the famous kettle, to the abundant wildflowers and plantings around the house, to a beautifully designed #FLW fire grate. I picked up this big hunk of design annual from 1941 solely for the occult/ mystical inspired cover a few years ago. Have. Not. Once. Regretted. It.
