2. Brea meets skekLach and skekOk. She wanted to see the Lords too bad and swam too deep, where her eyes can't see a thing, and she got lost. They won't do any harm to her of course, after finding out she's a princess. They'd even escort her to the caves of Grot, where she'll accidently meet Deet. Also Brea, as all female Gelf mermaids, is a flying fish

3. Since the Skeksis are anglerfish, their lanterns mean a lot for them. If you want to hurt them - certainly go for the lantern. And yeah, that's exactly how skekTek was punished in this AU, they took his lantern instead of the eye

I know what most of you are thinking. Humans??? Yes. I’ve been playing Genshin for a while and I finally decided to indulge in Canon x Oc last year.

Her name is Mariposa, she’s originally from Fontaine but moved to Mondstadt where she joins the Knights of Favonius. She and Kaeya hit it off but take the longest time to become a couple.

I almost never get serious on here, but this is an emergency that effects ALL of us. This is gonna b a long post, but there's a lot of info so plz bear with me.

If you're not on tiktok, you probably haven't heard abt this cuz I've heard and seen NO ONE outside of tiktok talking about this and that's scary.

We have a major mass internet censorship bill that Facists- I mean "Conservatives" are trying to get through congress that was co-signed by Dove (yes, the soap company) & LIZZO of all people back in April of this year.

This bill is called the "Kids Online Safety Act" or KOSA for short.

Under the guise of "protecting children" it is the worst mass internet censorship bill to date and if it passes, it will give state senators and the government the power to censor and destroy anything they don't like off the face of the internet. And by that I mean in a recent video interview of Senator Marsha Blackburn (one of the senators that introduced the bill) said the quiet part out loud and detailed EXACTLY what we knew they were gonna do.

If they pass it, they're going to use it to wipe any LGBTQIA+ content & info off the face of the internet, but ESPECIALLY anything to do with Transgender people and being Trans. And they intend on targeting Transgender children especially.

Due to the purposefully vague wording of the bill giving the gov. the power to destroy anything they deem "a danger to kids" you know that's what they're gonna use it for instead of censoring anything that's an actual danger to kids. They said it themselves.

But it gets SO MUCH WORSE than that. This bill would also give th4em the power to control EVERYTHING you do and EVERYWHERE yo go on the internet and no. A VPN won't help you.

This goes way beyond just lgbtqia info and fandom content/culture being in danger. This also means our right to free speech, access to accurate and factual information, and ability to communicate & organize with each other is also up on the chopping block. They're trying to make it harder for us to fight back against what they're doing.

And even if you don't live in the US, this will also effect you too. Access to any US based content creators and US based media as well as your ability to communicate with your US friends & Family as well as access to info on what's happening in the US will also be in danger as well.

If you're on tiktok and want more info, I reccomend looking up omarsbigsister who has an entire playlist on the bill as well as info and petition links in her bio and a call script to read off for contacting your senators. but I will also be providing those same links at the end of this post.

So what can we do to stop it?

Sign petitions

COntact your senators and reps. Call them, email them, send physical letters,

but most importantly,

SPREAD THE WORD.

share and repost this because the fact that no one oustide of tiktok is talking about this even though it will effect ALL OF US and could spell the end of the internet as we know it is SCARY

Antisemitic phrases like "cultural marxism" and "global elites" appear before the document even really gets rolling, and are mixed in with transphobia, racism, and more.

I haven't read the whole thing, but I skimmed through a few parts. They're also planning to gut the EPA, CDC, and FDA, and straight up abolish the DOE and replace all public school funding with "vouchers."

Oh, and they're already "recruiting" people to fill key positions to make this possible. They want to have people in the wings so they can start installing them right away. The plan is to make all federal-level jobs basically "at will" positions, so they can fire people en masse and replace them with people who are on board with their mission.

The group behind this is the Heritage Foundation, which has been pulling strings at the highest levels of conservative politicians in the US for decades now. This is the group that gave the Reagan administration its game plan. They have an alarming amount of power and influence, and have largely managed to maintain it by staying just out of the spotlight enough.

This isn't just a crackpot idea, these people are legitimately able to put their plans into motion if they gain power.

And if you have the stomach for it, here are a couple passages from the beginning of their plan: (cw for transphobia, homophobia)

This is before they even get into talking about the epidemic of single mothers, and how being fatherless is the real root of all problems.... and of course this problem is especially bad among Black populations... plans to ramp up "border security".... further militarize police forces...

Here's the thing: It doesn't matter who you are. These people are going to kill you. Yeah, they're going to come for the queers, and the Blacks, and the immigrants. Yeah, you should care because of that. But if you are lucky enough to survive that, you'll be living in a world where environmental protections are gone from this country. Public schooling systematically dismantled. If they get their way, they are going to start dismantling the fragile democracy we live in, smiling all the while and telling people it's for their own good.

It's crazy that these strikes are happening given that all the writers and actors are asking for is less than 0.3% of the revenue these studios make.

This is what gets me. The writers and actors aren’t asking for much but these CEOs are digging their heels in

It's because it sets a precedent that the CEOs are terrified to set. That they will acquiesce to worker demands if the workers are resolute enough.

Because in an ideal world for these rich fucks, the workers give up, and the CEOs win, and its reinforced in the collective public mindset that all a strike does is "disrupt the economy, deprive people of valuable products, and waste people's time". The goal is to maintain the assertion that Strikes Don't Work. I don't think they genuinely give a shit about 0.15% of their revenue. What they care about is the OPTICS.

They cannot back down, for the exact same reason that WORKERS cannot back down. Because if the workers win, it shows people just that bit more that The Poors have power and ultimately we can make the rich do what we want if we put our fucking minds to it. And that, to the rich, is bad news bears to the highest degree.
