I don’t give a HECK if Mamma Mia! Here I Go Again (2018) is a GARBAGE rehash of the first film I’m gonna be in the theater singing Abba like I live in Greece and having the TIME of my LIFE

I really do be having full blown convos with myself. I crack jokes with myself. I laugh at myself. I rant to myself. I give motivational speeches to myself. I talk shit with myself.

I’m just here for me 😫🤧

I have full blown interviews with myself in front of imaginary audiences or on imaginary news shows, complete with audience laughter/applause for the funny stuff I say. If you want to have a full blown conversation with yourself, make yourself important.

^^^ I be on Oprah, the late show, accepting my academy award and my Grammy, reciting my monologue in dramatic movies, giving backstage access to my concerts, house tours… I’m kind of big deal 😂😂😂

Omg how did I forget to add those things. I’ve done all of those. Also, panels at conventions, alone or with other people, Q&As with fans.

I’m the queen of imaginary fights. be creating scenarios where ppl piss me off or come at me crazy and now I gotta defend myself and let them know I’m not the one LOL

Dawg I be doing this ^

I give ted talks and deliver speeches about racism, colonization, decolonization, the Cold War and imperialism to my imaginary audience nd record myself in the process. I also answer questions

Literally screaming. I love us

Hey there, do you have some catlock recs please?

Hey nonny, full disclosure, I haven’t really explored Catlock, so I haven’t read any of these fics, but they looked like good candidates on a sweep thru AO3. Hope something here fits the bill!

Catlock- Fic Recs

A Study in Strays byphilalethia, 30 k, mature. John Watson moves to 221B Baker Street.Unfortunately, the flat’s already occupied.

No Ordinary Cats by philalethia, 8 k, gen. MrsHudson adopts a cat called Sherlock, who soon becomes bored being an only cat.So she tries to find a friend for him. Silly little AU in which Sherlock andJohn (and Mycroft) are cats.

To Have, to Hold, to Mark, ToOwn bymaxthebd, 2 k, explicit. Something smells delicious in 221B. Sherlock is boundand determined to suss out the source.

Cat Among the Pigeonsby BeautifulFiction, Catlockseries. 6 parts gen to mature. As days became months, John found himselfoverlooking the cat-like characteristics or the occasional moments of Felisianbehaviour. He forgot about Sherlock’s sharper-than-usual canines and the way hecould see in the dark. So what if he lived with a rare genetic variant of Homosapiens, rather than a bog-standard example of the general population? Itwas just Sherlock, unique in every respect and captivating for his mind as muchas his physical appearance.

Nine Inches, Yew byceywoozle, 56 k, mature. Potterlock. Sherlock is an animagus. John’s not quite surehow he feels about cats.

Missing: One Owner by VincentMeoblinn, 51 k,explicit. Cats evolved into felissapiens, which put them at odds withhomosapiens. Shelters now care for those without homes while the felinesattempt to get more rights and police try to keep them from being abused. Johnstarts his new job in Scotland Yard and meets one stray with an attitude who startsbringing him ‘presents’ in an attempt to get John to adopt him.

in the hearts of small thingsbymichi_thekiller, 10 k, gen. In which John gets a cat and names it Sherlock.

This is a great piece. Highlights from the 13 dietitians:

“To people who are curious about my approach, I explain that weight does not dictate health, and there is no way of predicting what someone’s healthiest weight is. Even if we could, 95–97% of purposeful weight loss attempts fail. Instead, I help my clients build sustainable habits that aren’t built on restriction, and let their body settle at whatever size it’s supposed to be.”

“I started reading the scientific literature and going to conferences, and the evidence for HAES and intuitive eating was undeniable. I came to realize that practicing within this anti-diet paradigm was the only way to help clients truly, fully recover.”

“With all of the research we have supporting the negative physiological and psychological effects of dieting and pursuit of weight loss, I find it unethical to approach nutrition counseling with the old diet/weight-loss paradigm.”

“… our society requires that we be a certain size and at a certain level of health. I work with clients to dismantle that for themselves and to become aware of behaviors that are no longer working for them. Weight is not the issue — whether or not the body loses weight is up to the body, not up to the client or me, for that matter.”

“Now my nutrition therapy is rooted in evidence-based science as well as almost 20 years of clinical observation. I help people move toward health using only weight inclusive and non-diet theories and interventions. That means I don’t use the scale as a measure of progress because for most people it keeps the focus off health and promotes unhealthy attitudes toward body image and self-worth.”

“I provide education on the harmful effects of counting calories, points, macros, weight, steps, etc., and help them move away from quantifying health. In the beginning I have to debunk incorrect nutrition information and provide them with a model of eating that is adequate and balanced. I also help them redefine what ‘health’ is. Our culture essentially defines health by size and appearance. So we have to rewrite all of that and think of it as much more multifaceted.”

I was about to post this myself!

A few years ago, you would never have seen an article like this on a mainstream website like BuzzFeed. It makes me feel hopeful to see this now. Could there be a real change in the air?

one of my favorite things is how badgers and coyotes will hunt cooperatively. as in not just like happening to go after the same thing at the same time but actually combining efforts to bring down prey; coyotes are faster and can chase down prey species, while badgers are adept at digging them out of their burrows

also results in great images like this

Lots of good badger/coyote pics out there!

Are you kidding me this is the best thing I’ve learned all week

Someone make a Dreamworks movie about this
