I've been trying to understand how Maddie got it so perfectly, the way she told Buck that maybe he isn't sure of his own feelings yet and he will figure out a way to tell Eddie in his own time if he has something to tell him. Because that's the root of it all, isn't it? Then I remembered that she was the one Buck called when he couldn't find Christopher during the tsunami...she must have heard about Buck wailing like he'd lost everything when the well collapsed...she knows about the shooting...she was the one Buck complained at length about Eddie's new friend, even if he was jealous of both Eddie and Tommy and didn't realize it. If she didn't put two and two together earlier, she must have when Buck came out to her.
