rebel’s well aware of the fact that it’s going into the night and he was still sat in his office, working on something. he was sure the other male was waiting for him to join him on the couch or in bed ( he was almost positive that he was expected for dinner but ended up eating in his office ). but, he was busy working on a few things, he had deadlines and there wasn’t anybody to help him with the articles. rebel sighs, fingers running through his hair as he picks up a mug that was in front of him, taking a sip of the now cold contents that were in it. “—i’ll be done in a minute.” he mumbles, typing away on the imac that sat in front of him.
an audible huff can be heard from the boy currently clearing away the dinner dish from rebel’s desk. “you said that four times already.” laken mumbles in return, and it’s clear he’s not happy ----- not happy whatsoever. evenings and nights and weekends were supposed to be for them, not for work, and laken always had a hard time sharing rebel during those times. of course, if it was up to laken, his boyfriend would just be with him every moment ; that wasn’t practical, though. and laken wouldn’t want to do anything to drive rebel away. but in this moment, again, laken was not happy, carrying the dirty dish out of the office and towards the kitchen, wanting to go clean up ( and take his anger out on cleaning the dishes ).
