In a rigidly patriarchal society, what are the implications of a young man essentially committing patricide–murdering his master and adoptive “father” to garner control over his inheritance (even if he does exist on the fringes of said society)?
Personally, I think Mozenrath created an undead mamluk from Destane’s body in mockery, not only of Destane, but of those same familial laws.
