Man I fucking hate like 99% of modern guro. It manages to get to "what if GORE made people HORNY" or "What if BODY was OBJECT" and doesn't move a single solitary inch past it. I feel like it's a massive unexplored artistic frontier that nobody has really touched.

The horror of the pristine, the tenderness of cleaning a wound, body as action, body as verb, body as flow, Gore as mild social faux-pas, Gore as hygiene, the horror of hygiene, Gore as self-care, Gore as normality, the violence of conformity, the horror of self-knowledge, the agony of self-love, etc, etc.

Chivalry, but in an explicitly queer way

Duty, divorced from militaristic connotations, doing the right thing because it is the right thing and because it needs to be done even if nobody will thank you for it

Tradition, as connection and humanity and the knowledge that there are some things we have done for thousands of years because we love each other

Actually I want to reclaim a lot of words from right-wingers/conservatives

I think that every night it should be pouring rain so i can listen to it and chill in bed. And that every day should be mild and sunny so i can take my daily walk. and if its not then i will be throwing a huge tantrum

The inherent homoeroticism of killing your enemy and immediately regretting it

It’s about rage, it’s about obsession, it’s about making that two-person war your entire raison d’être. It’s about loving and mistaking it for hatred and loving and loving and loving to the point of destruction. His or yours, it doesn’t matter. And you think seeing him dead at your feet will make you feel better, but all you feel is a whole lot of nothing.
