Bleary eyes cracked open to glance at the clock beside her on the table. 3:38AM. Groaning aloud, she flipped onto her back and stared up at the ceiling for a minute before sitting up in bed and raking her hand through her unruly brown waves. This was the third night in a row that a certain beanie-headed boy appeared in her dreams, and she could barely sleep. Getting out of bed, knowing she was not going to get any further sleep that night, she threw together an outfit and headed to the safest place she knew to clear her head.

The White Wyrm. Stepping inside, glancing around at the few faces in there with the smallest nod in greeting, she headed over to the pool table to get in some practice, yawning several times in the process. It would be a miracle if she didn’t fall asleep on the damn pool table as exhausted as she was. She could still replay the dreams in her head. So realistic. So terrifying for her, in more ways than one.

“Y-Yeah...I just need to sit and rest for a bit...maybe an ice pack would be nice...uhm...” Pausing as she glanced up at the Serpent in the beanie, she was considering not telling him what had happened, but in the end, she knew hiding the truth would be even worse. “I got jumped...some punk Ghoulies trying to earn their stripes...”
