Buddy dragged me into NSR and I enjoy the spaceman. Also it was revealed in the backstories that he was a university professor before being a DJ… what a transition.

i don’t know if dollblr has found out about this yet but LOL Surprise made a doll that looks exactly like artist Amina Mucciolo without paying or consulting her.

it’s also worth noting that back in october Amina was evicted from her apartment after Lisa Frank & Hotels(.)com stole her home design for a pop-up hotel and still to this day neither of them have issued an apology or compensated her for this

update! the head of MGA entertainment, distributor of LOL surprise dolls and Bratz products has threatened Amina on Twitter.

PLEASE do not buy anymore MGA products. This brand deserves to die after the way they’ve treated Amina. This is disgusting and I hope this man rots. Amina deserves better.

rules for requests:

  1. it’s only going to be a sketch unless I want to go further with it but there’s no guarantee of that
  2. no oc’s I will draw “furries” if you ask for it but only fanart and not oc’s (ex: sonic). it’ll be begrudging on my end because I don’t like drawing them but I’ll do it
  3. only light fanart requests no complex ideas (as i am probably only doing a 20min sketch tops to conceptualize an idea so keep it simple)
  4. no subjects that are offensive and no NSFW
  5. I am at liberty to turn down any ideas as I am doing this for free especially if they don’t follow the guidelines

Despite being cool.and upbeat (and she is) she also suffers from anxiety and recently started speaking about it in social media. Instagram posta detailing her inability to even go downstairs and how support her fam are etc. She also recently did a bbc documentary about anxiety disorders.

Nadiya is also a perfect example of why diversity in media is important. A government report on community cohesion said she’s done “more for British-Muslim relations than 10 years of government policy”, because her presence on TV has helped to humanize the image of the hijab-wearing Muslim woman in the eyes of the public. She’s not even really a political activist or anything - she’s just a nice, honest, down-to-earth person. Sometimes that’s all it really takes to convince people.

She has her own series on Netflix now!

A Forbidden Deadly Dance

I found this WIP in my art folder. My friends complimented on the lineart, and looking at it it’s a waste to just let it rot there ;w;

As usual, I’m infamous in not coloring my stuff so I just did the best I can :’)

I love ballroom dancing when I got it as a class, so I was inspired to make this piece.

Didn’t put a date watermark on this. I forgot when the lineart was finished.
