Why is white-washing deemed racist when the opposite isn't?

I always see people talking about how someone is white-washing characters. But what about all those people who are drawing Cleopatra with dark skin? It´s the same thing but in the other direction. Scientists prooved that she had middle brown hair and lighter skin! Why does no one blame those artist? You know why? Because (and I don´t know why) its fine to draw actual pale people with darker skin, but if you draw a person which has darker skin with light skin people are judging you! I´m sick of it.

I´m an artist. If I want to white-wash everything, I will whitewash everything. And if I want to draw everyone who has pale skin, with darker skin, I´ll also do it! Because I´m an artist and I can do the heck what I want!
