I have a Neato Botvac that has an optical sensor to find its way around (Roombas just bump into things and derps off in a random direction) and yesterday it did its “dee-dummm” sad noise while under the couch, stopped what it was doing, and hummed over to me and stopped beside my chair, with its error message saying, “Please dust me off so I can see.” I wiped it off and sent it on its way, and it did its “doo doo do doooo!” of happiness and finished the living room. It’s never done that before, but I like to think that I’ve gained its trust over the past few months, and it knows it can come to me for help.

Okay guys, I don’t know what the fuck is going on. But apparently, EU is planning on restricting the internet because of copyright laws so basically, if their plans go through, it’s ILLEGAL to do fanstuff (Fanart, fanfiction…you know) at least from what I’ve read. 

I’m not sure if that can actually happen, or if it’s true but if it is, this was a nice run. Also if you are from the EU, keep an eye out of petitions.

it very much is true, and the the law passed today (or yesterday, i’m not quite sure). however, it will only start taking effect late 2018- early 2019, and like with all laws, there are many steps (as with net nutrality in the US) before it fully takes hold. so in the meantime there are things that can be done to prevent it (calling/emailing your mep, signing petitions and etc), though i’m not sure how effective they will be. i don’t think anyone will be thrown in jail bcs of making memes/fanart, or recieve fines, but that area will be restricted. so you wont be able to share or look at things that are a remix of copyrighted material.
