Hey, I'm a queer black enby who desperately needs to get an abortion, but literally can't due to my state's (idaho's) restrictive bullshit abortion laws. I'm mentally ill and have a part time remote job, but can't hold more hours. my roommate/friend is a trans person with a full time remote job, so fortunately we can stay employed out of state. but with mounting bills and the soaring cost of living we need some extra help with being able to move to oregon.

Palestine Commissions Association Spreadsheet and Discord now open!
If you're an artist/creative of any sort that is interested in doing commissions to raise money for Palestinian charities/GoFundMe's/etc or a person interested in commissioning something and want your money to go to a good cause at the same time, we're trying to set up some resources to help make this easier for everyone!
First, we're trying to create a unified, easy-to-reference database where artists can share their commission info and commissioners can find artists who make the kinds of art they're interested in more easily!

Second, we've created a Discord to help connect artists with commissioners that is intended to work in conjunction with the database! A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.

the problems really start coming and they don't stop coming
pictured is the water heater in our basement, the gas won't light and it's sprung a leak. we currently don't have any hot water and are dealing with some mild flooding. I will be updated my family's gofundme to account for the price of the furnace as well as getting a new heater installed. in the mean time, we could use some help getting these to clear out the wetness in the basement.

Fantasy books stop having arctic kingdoms of all blond hair blue eyed white people.
So this idiot decided to write out all this nonsense then block me so I wouldn't even be able to see it which is a choice.
1) Scandinavians like Norwegians, Swedes, etc are NOT Indigenous to Scandinavia, and even the smallest amount of European historical knowledge would tell you that. Sámi and Karelians are the Indigenous peoples of the Arctic Scandinavia and Kola Peninsula. And no, historically these people, esp Sámi were not that pale so that's just ahistorical and I bet this idiot doesn't even know who the Sámi are.
2) "Mongolic" 🤮. Siberians, Mongolians, Chukchi, etc all can sometimes be pale and sometimes are not. There's literally so many darker skinned Arctic Asians esp with the Chukchi.
3) I actually never said "pale skin" in my original post. I said "blonde hair blue eyed white people" because there aren't any Indigenous Arctic people who are universally considered "white" and blonde hair and blue eyes are really uncommon in the Arctic.
4) You claimed that lighter features are advantageous in the Arctic when actually they are not. Actually scientific research shows that due to the Arctic having near constant sun exposure for half the year means sunburning is esp easy esp if you have less melanin, including in the eyes. Blue eyes esp are very sensitive to sun exposure and esp around snow can make snow blindness occur faster. So your "scientific" knowledge is wrong.
5) Arctic Natives Americans are darker because... We eat fish?????? Huh? Arctic NAs aren't even usually that much darker than Siberian Natives and dude I just gotta say, we ALL* eat fish idiot. Kinda a lot of water up there.
(Obv not all of us eat fish but a lot do, I certainly eat a whole lots of fish it's my main meat intake I don't really eat any meat besides it)
6) I am Arctic Indigenous man, and I'm not even being colorist because I do have light skin, but again this wasn't even about skin color, this was about fantasy Arctic kingdoms all looking like a nazi wet dream unless they're bandits or barbarians, THEN they aren't white and are Asian or Native American, which is obviously extremely racist.
But anyway, the Arctic is extremely diverse with thousands of ethnic groups in it, and to write Arctic kingdoms in fantasy as all white people esp all with being blonde and blue eyed (I literally listened to someone talk about one book that someone was clearly not Arctic because their hair was bleached and not naturally blonde and their eyes weren't blue enough 🤮) Or depicting Asians and Native Americans as barbaric instead which is racist and shows a significant lack of knowledge about any Arctic Indigenous people.

A 28-year-old motorcyclist died in Washington State on Friday afternoon because a dipshit Tesla driver rear-ended him at speed. A Snohomish man, 56, was commuting in his 2022 Tesla Model S when he activated the car’s camera-based advanced driver assist system and according to his statements to police, began looking through his phone. With nobody paying attention to the car’s actions, the Tesla software ignored Jeffrey Nissen on his motorcycle and continued on at speed. The car rear-ended the two-wheeler, Nissen was flung from the bike, and his life ended pinned underneath the electric car, where he was still lodged when police arrived to the scene.
Tesla claims another life.
Reminder that even if you are personally aware of how dangerous Tesla vehicles are and vow to never ride in one, they can still kill you.
My own driving habits have changed around them. I always give Teslas extra space, avoid following them directly, and expect them to stop or swerve suddenly without notice.
Cannot count the times I've pulled up next to a Tesla at freeway speed, noticed the driver playing on their phone. Tap the horn. They look up with surprise.
Please, don't be that guy.
