So I'll cut to the chase on this since a lot of people are dying, drowning, and screaming for help in Cagayan and Isabela, Philippines. A lot of them have also been stranded and are standing on their rooftops as we speak.

I'm here to post a collection of donation drives that I've gathered online. If we can't help them physically, we can at least make sure they have monetary assistance, food and clothing once they're evacuated.

For context:

The Philippines has been hit by three consecutive typhoons this month alone: Quinta, Rolly (Goni internationally) and Ulysses. It's been hitting nearly the same areas, which has made them even more vulnerable now that they're still recovering from the previous typhoons. Our mountain ranges couldn't shield us from this due to heavy quarrying and deforestation.

That said, these aren't the only places in need of assistance. But these are the places in urgent need of help. And we're trying to do as best as we can with what little we have.

I'll update this post from time to time for full transparency. All of them will be in the notes, where others are also adding their resources and updates.

A/n: If y’all let this flop, I’m hunting each of you down. I literally put Toothless and Seonghwa together.

The rumors were spreading quicker and quicker. A dragon rider was spotted in town. Now long ago, people learned how to control dragons, how to ride them instead kill them. But after an encounter years ago, dragons and humans were separated. What became a common occurrence of dragons was now a rare sighting. Even so, only the small ones, the common ones, were the spotted ones. The rare dragons were now mere myth, mere legend.

Dragon riders were a fable of what once was, what could be now. But recently whispers have spread around that dragon riders were coming back. And with dragon riders comes dragons.

“Spotted. Girl on back of Deadly Nadder.” The tv spokesperson read off.

“That’s terrifying! Imagine what people could do with them!” (Y/n) jogged to catch up with her friend. Her arm looped around his, feeling the leather jacket he always wore. “They’re monsters!”

“(Y/n). You know history as well as I do. Dragons are nowhere near vicious as people would like to make them out to be. They’re gentile and can be tamed. I’m sure with modern technology and government, dragons can join civilization again!”

“Seonghwa. Realism please.”

He sighed, looking at his friend. They were heading home after a late afternoon coffee break. Seonghwa and (y/n) had been friends since childhood, now even living together in a shared apartment.

“If you hate dragons, then why do you live near the mountains. You know they are seen here?”

(Y/n) stopped in her tracks, turning to see her friend. “Because you are here.”
