عن عبدالله بن عمر رضي الله عنه قال:
بينما نحن نصلي مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذ قال رجل من القوم:
الله أكبر كبيرا والحمد لله كثيرا وسبحان الله بكرة واصيلا
فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
من القائل كلمة كذا وكذا؟
قال رجل من القوم: أنا يا رسول الله. قال:
عجبتُ لها! فتحت لها أبواب السماء.
قال ابن عُمَر:
فما تركتهن منذ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ذلك.
رواه مسلم
It is narrated that Abdullah ibn `Umar radhiya allahu anhu [may God be pleased with him] said:
While we were praying with the Messenger of God ﷺ, a man from the crowd said:
allahu akbar kabiran wal hamdu lillahi kathiran wa subhanallahi bukratan wa asilan [God is indeed the Greatest, all praises are due to Him, many praises, and all glory is His alone, morning and evening.]
The Messenger of God ﷺ said:
Who is the one who said these words?
A person from the crowd said: It is me O Messenger of God.
The Prophet said: They amazed me! They caused the doors of heaven to be opened.
Ibn `Umar said:
I have never abandoned these words since I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say that.

Let go of your grudges. Let the bitterness die tonight. Make a decision today that it’s time to move on. And begin again. New, this time. Never forget that what has passed you by was never meant to befall you. And what has befallen you, was never meant to pass you by. Know that sometimes Allah withholds from you, in order to give you something better. Keep your heart focused on Him, and He will take care of the rest. And remember: you will stumble, but that’s part of the path. Keep going. Keep rising, and refuse to give up.

[Youtube] SubhanAllah, this is such an ultimate inspiration as an aspiring Hafitha of the Quran. To see women who actually go out and read Quran in such a melodic voice, especially among men who would suggest otherwise, subhanAllah. This is truly something else, and it’s disappointing to have come across listening to her now.
