Chapter 6 - I Am Hers
6 weeks later
As soon as it had been confirmed by the Maester that her moons had started and looked perfectly healthy and normal, a sign of certain fertility, the whole Keep was set into motion. Invitations were sent to all the lords of the major Houses in the realm, and the preparations that had been kept waiting were pulled out of the shadows and finished.
Daena had been amazed at how much had already been decided and prepared, from the banquets to the tourneys, and even to the dress she would wear to the altar. It was a color between green and blue, with an impressive depth to it, and long silky sleeves that flowed from Daena’s elbows to the floor. The collar and the hem of it were embroidered with black and gold dragons and birds, their wings weaved together in a dance that was meant to symbolize the union between House Targaryen and House Arryn.
