How are the IDW Sonic comics? I've been meaning to get into them!
The IDW comics are generally excellent in my opinion. The people behind it genuinely love Sonic and it shows. The character are portrayed very likably (and super cool) and it’s fun to see all the personalities bounce off each other. The amount of sincere respect they give the characters is just... *chef’s kiss.* More than anything it’s just fun. Even the current arc, which is admittedly somewhat dark, still has that fun, adventurous energy to it that makes you want to keep reading. If you at all like the Sonic series and always wished there was more to the cast and world, you will almost certainly love this. Frankly, I wish the Pony IDW comics were more like these comics, that’s how much I like them.
