Reblog if you're a rising senior studyblr!

Hey all,

Ever since I started this blog, I couldn't believe the amount of hardworking studyblrs of all ages whom I followed, acquainted with, and became mutuals.

However, I'd love to connect with studyblrs who will be high school seniors/year 13s in the fall. My dash is kinda dead, and I'd love to follow more rising senior studyblrs.

Studyblr intro!

Hi! I’m serotonin, a hs senior with way too little organization and way too many things to do. I’m totally new to the studyblr community- apart from surfing Pinterest and studying tags- so please feel free to drop in and say hi! I’m in this to make friends :)

Some things about me:

- I’m seventeen

- I really, really like plants and I have wayyy too many

- I want to be a forester one day!

Why make a studyblr?

I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, and I decided that I wanted in on the community more than anything. It seems so nice, and everyone is united in the quest for more knowledge. I also want to stay motivated, and I think this will help.

What classes am I taking?

I get to enjoy a few more days of break, but I’ll be taking:

- AP Psychology

-AP Literature

-AP Stat

-AP Euro (self study)

-Horticulture

-Biology @ a local community college

-Spanish 3

-and some others I can’t remember rn

Extracurriculars! (Aka my friend group)

-rocketry

-science olympiad

-FFA

-Nerd Club

-Book Club

Interests?

As I said before, my primary interest is in plants! I also like:

- Botany

- Gardening

- Reading (fantasy)

- Biking

- Drawing

- Writing (also fantasy)

What will be on my blog:

I plan on posting mostly study tips and motivation, interspersed with fun facts and note pics. Also science. Always science.

15. class you’ve always wanted to take but never had the chance: i’ve always wanted to take a philosophy class and a russian class! i was actually trying to take either through a local college but by the time i was able to sign up the intro to philosophy class was closed and the russian one was only held in the middle of my school day :(

32. fav teacher and why: this is a hard question! i’ve loved a lot of my teachers and i think that ALL teachers are underappreciated and underpaid!! i’ll describe one of my fav teachers from this past year, though! i’m not a huge STEM person so i was very scared about AP chem and it didn’t help that my teacher was like “your grades don’t matter that much, it matters what you get out of this class and i’m just preparing you for college” yada yada yada. i’m super grade-oriented (trying to fix that!) and so i was terrified of this? and i ended up getting my first B ever in first semester chem :( but when i asked him about it, he immediately offered to help and helped me figure out how to get higher grades on reaction quizzes, helped me sometimes with concepts when i was confused. he also had an ace bell (kind of like a home room) when i was in lunch so i went there every day instead of going to lunch and we talked about music and books and occasionally chemistry (: it was very fun and it helped show me a different side to someone whose main profession was torturing me lol. also we bonded over the band ELO and one time he borrowed a DVD of their 2017 wembley concert because i hadn’t seen it and brought it to class and i stayed after school for 2 hours before a rehearsal so we got to listen to that and it was super fun. anyway that was kind of long but long story short: the class was pretty tough for me, but my super awesome helped me bring my grade up and also helped me realize that i should just be a person and not focus so much on my grades
