Today marks probably one of the most important in my life. I am now the lightest I have been since I was in primary school. When I tipped the scales at 175kg (385lbs), I was deeply depressed and hated myself for what I had let myself become. When you’re severely overweight and part of the LGBTQ+ community, life becomes a series of people staring, talking about you behind your back and constant ridicule from that same community you’re supposed to be a part of and feel like you’re supposed to belong in. You can’t buy clothes in regular stores because no one stocks your size. You can’t buy economy airfare tickets because you don’t fit in the seats. You can’t ride the rides at amusement parks because it poses a safety risk for you and everyone around you. You’re an outcast, rejected by society and that starts a vicious cycle. You eat because you feel sad and then you feel sad because you’ve eaten and around and around it goes. It wasn’t until I stopped listening to other people and decided to make a change for myself that it finally stuck. I’m not perfect, no one is. I’ve strayed and fluctuated even while getting to where I am now but that’s ok. All we can do is be a better version of ourselves than we were yesterday and, today, I think I achieved that.

I have watched many Kamen Rider movies, but there is no Kamen Rider movie that is both as messy and as entertaining as this Pac Man crossover movie.

And at some point, you ask yourself, “Why is this a Kamen Rider Ghost crossover movie?” and of course the answer is:

I don’t care what anyone else says. This movie is an underappreciated WORK OF ART.

KH had an enormous influence on me as a kid and I still can get goosebumps listening to simple and clean. I love the game’s heart and identified with Sora’s nativity and heroic nature pretty hard, kinda still to this day. I’m pretty excited to see how they play out this game and I can’t wait to get my hands on it tomorrow! 💛
