NOTE to Prize Winners - Prizes coming 7/24 (Banker fell asleep after much hard work!)

Prize winners still at large - sadly, Priscilla, one of the real champs of getting stuff done at the Rev felt exhausted and overwhelmed as things came to a close and as the organizer banker, she ended up falling asleep before the ball really even got going.  All of the prizes will be dispersed tomorrow. If anyone has questions or concerns, please rest assured your loot is coming to you by mail tomorrow (monday 7/24!) thanks for your patience.  And thanks for coming to participate and compete!!!

I have no idea of anyone has said anything about it but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved in the Midsummer Nights Revelry! Thank you to the wonderful and hard working organizers, the guilds involved, the amazing and wonderful people who took so much time to bring this all together. Thank you for everyone who came out and supported the event, who cheered is on, who joined in the games, who made it all worth it. You are all beautiful and great people and I love you all. @msn-revelry

There were so many lost…

Those who were yet to be found, those who might never be found, and those who were found but still lost to them. Loss and hope, they came together like those twins to make them stronger…At least the young man hoped it would as he let his lantern go on the count with the others.

Midsummer’s Night Camping

Lusien Amberfire smirked slyly at Zhell as he came upon the small, makeshift camp of Vipers’ Cove. 

It wasn’t much, but it was comfortable and would do the trick. Cords cast up across the small bunch of trees off to the side of the oasis the event was held in with tarps stretched here and hammocks hung there. The night wasn’t cold per say, but the fire was still quite inviting.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS!

The Midsummer Revelry is a collaboratively developed Wyrmrest Accord Horde event meant to celebrate and promote community. For months, over 20 guilds have worked together to come up with a community event that would demonstrate the joy of roleplay, fairness, good sportsmanship and community driven values and the days to enjoy these efforts are nearly upon us.

Starting on July 21st and going through July 23 all well-meaning and community spirit driven roleplayers are invited to come out and compete and celebrate with us in Ma’rat, Uldum.

What all can you expect to experience at the Revelry? Watch our beautiful trailer done by Kurel An’diel of Sunspire Port and visit our website, but also, well, here’s our schedule!

July 21st (Friday)

5:00 WrA Server - Gathering for the Opening Ceremonies Parade and Commencement Announcements and Performance. During this time, Revelry goer’s will be able to sign-in to our information booth which is simply going up to our information staff, at which point you’ll get your very own Revelry ‘swag bag’ so you are all set to revel with the best of them.  Swag bags include an assortment of goodies including a festival lantern, kite, sparkling batons and inky black potions.  We have collected enough to give the first 200 participants a swag bag, so come early and make sure to check in! You can also use this time to sign-up for the many competitions that we have going on all weekend long.

5:30 WrA Server - The Revelry kicks off with a pageantry parade of guilds and community representatives that will walk through the streets of Ma’rat and place their banners down proudly to show what Horde Solidarity looks like! Maybe you’ll even catch some candy, plushies or gold as the parade makes its way through the beautiful and exotic streets of Ma’rat.

6:00 WrA Server - Of course knowing is half the battle, so during this time the Revelry Planners will give a welcome to those who come to revel and explain a bit about the events coming up, the guild booths and performances and also the prizes and raffles! Not to be forgotten, the rules of community conduct when participating in the events and activities (link to code of conduct). This will be followed up with a beautiful ceremony of the shamans, blessing the event with the fires of summer!

6:30-7:00 WrA Server - Our first raffle of the event will be a gorgeous jewel mount as well as gold prizes.  During this time we encourage you to sign up for events and if you need visit the information booth with questions.

7:00 WrA Server - A very unique take on a date auction.  You will be bidding on the -hands- of those brave enough to step up and be bid on! Gotta hand it to our auction planners, this is something everyone can point to as a wild and mysterious way to foster new friendships in Azeroth! 6:00 WrA Server - Gathering for Lighting of the Lanterns Ceremony.  During this time we are asking community members that would like to speak about those who have passed this year to do an IC commemoration or OOC commemoration of these cherished and gone but not forgotten community members.

6:30 WrA Server - Wishes for the Horde! Sign up to make a short well wishing or hope for the Horde and our community, or a congratulations and thanks to a group or individual that has represented the WrA Horde community with enthusiasm and honor. At the end, we will collectively raise and release our lanterns!

7:00 WrA Server - End of Revelry Midsummer Night’s Gala Ball. Formal attire.  During this time, prizes and champions of the events will be announced and then the dancing and partying will begin! Location: We have a beautiful location selected that will be a mystery for you to revel over upon summoning!  We just KNOW you will love it.
