Keva Hounds

Keva Hounds are shifter spirits that live in small communities throughout an astral realm filled with forests and mountain ranges. These communities act as packs or families, with typically no more that thirty people per community. As each community grows, it spreads further and further to reach out to other communities, creating a larger network and groups of keva hounds. Each hound has their own specific job in the community, with warriors and fighters being seen as the leaders, and typically will be the ones who make the decisions for the community. These spirits typically only have two forms, that of a human, and that of a canine. Many times, their canine form resembles wolves or german shepherds (though some hounds may choose to look like smaller canine breeds), and can be about four feet or taller. The fur color of their hound form usually depends on their job and age. For example, a warrior or fighter would have darker colored fur to make it easier for them to hide in the dense underbrush of the forests, while an artist hound may have brighter or multicolored fur with intricate designs painted onto it. Based on age, the younger hounds tend to focus on brighter colors for their fur, to express themselves and their individuality, while the older hounds either focus on their coloration based on their profession or choose a color that their relatives have, to show the relation. Their human forms come in many different shapes, colors, and sizes. Many of them choose to wear very flashy or extravagant clothing while in their human form, since they do not spend a lot of time in their human form. The lack of time spent in their human form is mainly because they find it easier to move around and go places as a hound.
