could you maybe write something for autistic reader and mamas boy!harry and how he kind of helps her in certain situations when he’s a bit older?? (obviously nothing too crazy, just little gestures to show that he cares and understands her)
i love this idea sm!!
you're going to the grocery like you do every month, except hrry's with you after school.
the minute you walk in though, you're thrown off. the aisles have changed, the layout is different and you didn't prepare for that.
harry spots the little change, james and you had been explaining your autism to him as he got older- he's now eleven.
"do you want me to go check it out first mum?" he asks, linking his fingers in yours, his small palm laying against your bigger one.
you turn to him and try to plaster a smile on your face but it's no use.
"i don't want you to go off by yourself," you say and harry nods.
"we can do it together then, one aisle at a time." he says gently and you smile this time, a real one though it's small. "i'll hold your hand the whole time, too."
you kiss your son's head, a little overwhelmed at his thoughtfulness and his easy accommodation for you. "you're the best haz," he blushes a little and you make a mental note to stop off at the bakery near your house to get him a couple sweets for being so perfect.
