Hi friends,
You may or may not have noticed that itโs been a couple weeks since I last updated and Iโm very sorry for the wait. Iโm even more sorry to report that itโs probably going to be an even longer wait.
Some of you know that Iโm in my last year of school before becoming certified as a teacher. Right now, I spend pretty much every waking moment either in a classroom with a bunch of 6th graders (thatโs 11 and 12 year olds for my non American friends) or writing lesson plans and learning about howย to teach those kids.
Next month, I start taking my certification exams that allow me to become a licensed teacher in the state of Texas. A couple months after that, I start student teaching and then that will consume my life until December.
And all of that was going really smoothly until I few weeks ago when I unexpectedly had to get surgery. The recovery went well so please donโt worry about that but it did throw off my whole routine and I have been in a super weird headspace ever since.
ANYWAY
All that to say, I have the story planned out to the end but I havenโt had the time or the motivation to actually sit down and write it. School and life are kicking my butt! I have like four more chapters written that I havenโt posted but I donโt have enough to keep the buffer I normally have to give regular updates.
Also, I see all your comments and your asks and I promise that I will get around to answering them at some point but right now Iโm in a funk and I canโt say when Iโll be back to normal ๐ญ
Okay, thatโs all, sorry for the long post but hopefully that gives you somewhat of an explanation for why Iโm not around lately! Miss yโall!
