Everyday I'm baffled and enraged that we have to share a planet with people who think it's fine that we now regularly see videos of the exploded insides of children's heads. I have seen so many dismembered, destroyed children , and this is through the screen of my phone, I can't imagine how it is to be face to face with these horrors.
"Just vote!" The man you're insisting people vote for is sending bombs to turn other human beings, children and women and men, families, other living breathing people, into red mist and hunks of meat. I would rather die.

Rare firsthand accounts by Israeli whistleblowers cast light on the horrific conditions in the Sde Teiman torture camp in Naqab Desert. Palestinians are stripped down, blindfolded, forced in diapers, and forbidden from speaking. They are subjected to beatings and mental degradation regularly. So much depravity that has gone unseen. Doctors performing procedures outside of their expertise, amputations due to zip-typing of abductees’ wrists, having large dogs unleashed on them at night. Being fed food through straws. I can’t believe it. I am truly in shock. And this is just one whistleblower accounting of this. Who knows what else is happening beyond our knowledge

Worth mentioning that multiple Palestinians have recounted these stories before, as direct victims detailing their experiences. What's unique about these accounts from CNN Israeli whistle-blower is that they're from an Israeli, therefore people are more likely to take this seriously.

a (very small) group of columbia students continued protest action by picketing in front of trustees' manhattan mansions this morning. at two locations, they were punched by zionists; at a third, a zionist tried to run them over—the kicker is that he is a close relative of the founder of the fascist kahanist movement, and that the injured student he ran over was arrested instead, handcuffed to a hospital bed. this follows days of violent zionist squadristi assaults on protesters in LA, chicago, and DC, among other locations, leaving many injured.

The book is Minor Detail by Adania Shibli. I find it interesting that the NYT described it as the "murder" of a Palestinian girl by Israeli soldiers when the book is explicitly about the gang rape and subsequent murder of a Palestinian girl and then in the modern-day how a young Palestinian woman finds the story and their obsession about finding more about this "minor detail" in Palestinian history. This is based on a real historical event that we only know about because the perpetrators wrote it down and went to trial.
