“How are you feeling?” He asked.

Blinking at the stranger from the waiting room, Rey swallowed hard. She didn’t like the fact that he was speaking to her. It made the moment too real. She didn’t want to miss him when she woke up.

“Shhh...don’t talk,” Rey muttered, crawling her nude body over his.

Lifting a dark brow, Kylo eyed her with a surprised look on his face. Apparently, she was feeling much better than he thought she would.

“Don’t talk…?”

Shaking her dizzy head, Rey pushed away the plush comforter and straddled the man’s sharp hips. It really didn’t matter that she wasn’t completely aroused, her dream lovers always found a way to take her from zero to ecstasy in no time.

“Shhh...shut up...just lie there and let me ride you,” Rey ordered.

Taken aback by her boldness, Kylo huffed in a mixture of excitement and disbelief. He couldn’t remember the last time she had taken the reins. He liked it. A lot.

His day was off to a good start for sure.

“Yes, Ma’am,” he replied, relaxing his head back upon the pillow.

I love how y’all spent years defending Ben Solo and saying just because he’s Darth Vader’s grandson, doesn’t mean he’s bad then constinously shit on Rey for being a Palpatine which she has no control over. Misogynistic much? You can defend a male character without putting down a female character.

Listen, Idk what the rest of the fandom is doing (and honestly try to stay out of a lot of the Discourse™) but personally? I've been shitting on that FACT that she's a Palpatine, because it's a stupid ass story, very underwhelming, and I think undermines a lot of the lessons the previous two movies tried to teach us (for example that you can be great without having greatness in your past - like, so now the only people in the main movies who are powerful have to come from one of 2 or 3 bloodlines? She couldn't just be Rey and be powerful? Was all that REALLY NECESSARY). But I wouldn't shit on Rey as a character, y'know? Idk man it's just such a terrible way to take the story lol. Are there purple saying Rey's destined to be evil now or something? Did I miss something big?

I thought the twist was bad and it caused the story not to flow well at all.

Basically I’ve seen stuff on twitter and tumblr, usually in reblogs about how Palpatine finally destroyed the skywalker bloodline and it’s not fair that Rey who is a Palpatine to take the skywalker name and how she cannot deny her bloodline. It’s demonizing her for being a Palpatine which she had no control over. It’s bad writing, but let’s not hate on a character for it.

i need you out there to hear this.

sometimes your abuser didn’t mean to abuse you.

they still abused you.

sometimes your abuser was doing the best they could. their best wasn’t enough. it was harmful. it was cruel.

they may not have known better. they may not have realized the effects of their behaviors and actions and words and choices. they may not have had that understanding.

it may have been how they were raised.

it may have been normalized for them.

they still abused you.

it’s not the intent but the effect that matters. their differing perspective or altered recollection does not change what was done. to you. 

your abuser may have changed over the years. they may have learned better, or calmed down, or heard you and realized they hurt you.

they still hurt you.

“i didn’t mean to” “that wasn’t how i saw it/meant it/remember it” “it’s how i was treated and i was fine” “i tried, i didn’t know better, i did my best” “that was so long ago and i’ve changed”

these are explanations at most generous, excuses in bald face.

don’t confuse them for apology. for amends. for repentance or changing of ways.

explanation, excuse, context. they frame a situation, but they don’t rewrite it.

forgiveness is your choice. yours only. you don’t owe it. it’s only healing or worth a damn at all if it’s what you choose, what you need. frankly, forgiveness isn’t even earned. it’s yours to give or not, based on whatever standard is right to you.

but if you’re looking to give forgiveness to the sorry, make sure they’re saying sorry, and not just explaining themselves. 

they’re not the same thing.

make sure they’re not trying to explain that, in fact, they didn’t abuse you at all, because of their perspective, because of context.

your scars don’t get erased in the right slant of light.

There were things I loved and things I really didn’t like about TROS, but my favorite part is watching the Reylo fandom openly become the very thing it has claimed they stood against. So many of you going after JJ, a real fucking person who CREATED the reylo y’all claim to love more than anything that it’s causing you to harass and demean a real person over fictional characters when you railed against the antis and fanboys for doing it to Rian when TLJ came out.

I’m not even surprised you all are doing this after the way you treated @corariley and myself. Honestly, thank you for harassing me out of the fandom last year because it forced me to live in the real world and in doing so I met my soulmate, finished my schooling, went to counseling for my mental heath issues, and have a great new job. I am honestly grateful because I could be loosing it like so many of you to the point where I can’t distinguish fiction from reality.

To my friends who are upset and handling this with poise, your feelings are valid and I support you. To the rest of you who are handling it like monsters, karma is a bitch and you honestly don’t deserve anymore Reylo for hurting real people over fictional characters. Y’all are fucked and I wouldn’t be surprised that even if they wanted to retcon Ben’s death to make more movies sometime in the future (which after this whole TLJ retconned movie, I could see happening), I doubt that JJ and other Lucasfilm creators would do so because of how fucking awful you’re being. You’re just like the fanboys who bullied George Lucas so bad that he sold his franchise to Disney. The ones that harassed Hayden to the point of him quitting acting.

The excuse of, “Reylo is my life...it saved me” is bullshit...obviously Reylo didn’t help you with your mental illness if you believe you are justified to harass living people over imaginary characters. There’s nothing wrong with loving reylo and being upset, but hurting LIVING people is not okay. I’m not surprised though after witnessing the behavior here for the last four years. Also, before anyone starts calling out my past behavior...I know it was shitty and I admit it, but at the same time it was most of the time in response to people being elitist fandom assholes and I have moved on from it, whether you have I honestly don’t care. I have nothing to lose at this point because I do not care about my reputation in the fandom. The difference between us is that I’ve at least grown as a person in the four years since TFA has come out whereas so many of you are addicted to tumblr and Reylo to the point where you cannot understand that real people take presidence over fictional characters.

You’ve become the very thing you were meant to destroy. Good luck being known as the rabid fan girls who told JJ to die over a fictional character, this Reylo refuses to be associated with your shameful behavior.

I love you SinTwin™️, and I’m so proud of the growth you have made. Everyone is entitled to their feelings, and people have every right to be upset with TROS...but wow, some of the behavior is really cringy. For years now, I’ve wondered if some people didn’t really understand the difference between fiction and reality and now I know the answer.

It’s almost sad, really. Imagine how much better our World would be if we all put that much energy into changing what we don’t like. We would all have better relationships, better families, better Governments, a better Earth. This is a wild thought but perhaps instead of acting like petulant children-unleashing such vitriol at the creators (who honestly don’t care), maybe you should channel that energy into doing something useful?

At the end of the day, it’s just fiction. And if you’re THAT upset over not getting a HEA (when we got everything else that we wanted) then please seek out a therapist and learn a different coping mechanism. There is more to life than this. I promise you.

Ok, so we didn’t get a HEA but it wasn’t a complete waste. After shipping these two characters for four years, I’m satisfied because I’m finding comfort in the things we did get. Remember, lovelies-we have fanfiction. I know the writers of this Community will make it right for all of you that are truly gutted. ❤️❤️❤️

That’s true - if they had done it without Redeemed Ben and the kiss, it would have been so much worse!! I read on twitter that the film was originally shot with Ben and Rey together at the end, but the filmmakers decided to change that for some ridiculous reason. Apparently you can tell because the ending scene is rushed like it was patched together from different shots, and that’s why Rey doesn’t mourn Ben at all. I hope they release the deleted scenes and tell us what was really supposed to happen!! If they don’t, I’ll just accept The Force Arranges a Marriage/Honeymoon as the true ending <3<3<3

@reylokisses it wouldn’t surprise me if there was an alternate ending...they did the same thing with Rogue One. Ugh...at least there’s fanfiction!
