Eduardo, who had indeed been about to throw the phone down, says, “What about Mark.”

“Mark, he – he needs you.” Sean actually sounds pained, which shocks Eduardo enough that he stays silent for a moment.

Then he asks, “Why?”

Sean sighs noisily and says, “Mark has cancer.”

Okay but how freaking beautiful was it that Kylo Ren spends the entire freaking first half of the movie telling Rey he’s gonna turn her to the dark side just to have him, Ben Chewbacca Solo himself, be the one that SAVES her from becoming Empress Palpatine at the end.

AND ANOTHER THING

Ben Solo’s entire life has been spent with OTHER people making decisions for him. Leia sends him away to Luke, Snoke turns everyone against him, forcing Ben to go to him, Snoke convinces Ben to kill his father, hell, Palpatine even gives him orders for a while.

And when he does make key decisions, (like whether or not to kill his father, and whether or not to go help Rey fight Palpatine), he says this:

“I know what I have to do, but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it.”

You know when he DIDNT say that? When he saved Rey.

HE made the decision to give up his life for hers, and he didn’t have to question whether he had the strength to do it, he knew he did. Because Ben Solo unequivocally loved her, and for the first time, he didn’t hide from that feeling. He embraced it, and that’s when he truly became Ben Solo. In that kiss, he was the happiest he has ever been.
