me when i’m on a road trip with my 3 beautiful weedsmoking girlfriends (bruce springsteen gerard way and jack antonoff) and the tank runs out but none of them know how to pump gas because they’re all from jersey so it’s up to me to save the day like the strong and soulful goddess of gasoline and everyone claps

J*hnny d*pp has earned $116 million since amber heard first came out about him abusing her. He continued to be in h*rry p*tter, murder on the orient express, pirates and several other movies. The idea that his career was ruined by her allegations are a joke, never mind that benign article where she didn’t even name him, considering he earned $116 million after
It’s so… Johnny Depp had WB/JK Rowling standing by him, even defending him, following Heard’s allegations. The Sun, an irrelevant joke of a newspaper, calls him a wife-beater for something like 24 hours (they amended the headline literally the very next day after publishing the article to remove the “wife-beater” phrase) but instead of letting it go (cos I mean it’s The Sun, not a single reasonable person respects that rag), Depp takes them to court claiming that they were trying to pressure WB/JKR to drop him from Fantastic Beasts (even though at that time they were continuing to stand by him), and loses - and because of that, he was dropped from Fantastic Beasts and we are now literally LEGALLY ALLOWED to call him a wife-beater without facing any legal consequences. Over a court case HE started. Literally all of this is of his own making.
AND HE STILL GOT PAID. For a movie he didn’t even do.
Amber Heard did not ruin his career, she never had that power. He was still one of the highest earning actors in Hollywood after she came forward about his abuse of her. And that’s why he is suing her for the Washington Post op-ed instead of the initial abuse allegations - no one looking at his earnings would believe for a second that her allegations actually affected his career, which is why he’s pinning it on something she wrote years later. And this is just one more thing that abusers do: take their anger at their own fuck-ups out on their victims. He fucked up his own career and he’s trying to find any way he can to blame her for it

i still think the best thing about lizzie/darcy is how almost nobody knew it was happening like it was SCANDALOUS and charged and they constantly oscillated between wanting to jump each other or jump each other's bones and everyone was too busy watching the vanilla trainwreck of bingley/jane and the victorian equivalent of a nuclear bomb that was lydia and wickham to realize that a whole THING was going on right in front of their respective perfectly boiled vegetables
sure he’s well versed in leftist theory but does he do the dishes
You’re so delicious as a concept, but as a real person I worry for you

Oh to be wearing these as I stroll through the farmers market with my basket of herbs and a ferret on my shoulder
If I had these dresses, I would wear nothing else. This would be my wardrobe forever. All other clothes are null.
