Summary: Evan Buckley has spent most of his life trying to live up to impossible expectations and following plans that weren't his. So when his father dies, he jumps at the opportunity to change his life. He follows Maddie across the country and together they open a coffee shop, The Perfect Blend. But real change happens when his life becomes intertwined with those of the firefighters from the local station, especially one Eddie Diaz.

Thanks to friendship and love, Buck learns what it means to be himself and finds the courage to open up.

Hopefully, he won't regret it.

New Season, New Prompts

Welcome to 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star First Kiss Week 2022!

This year we thought we could revisit one of the prompts that started this adventure, Pride!

This edition will therefore have one single-prompt day for Pride, five days with two prompts that you can choose from (or combine, if you feel adventurous), and the usual free choice day to give you more room to explore.

  • Day 1 (Monday May 30th): through tears ||  with smiles on their faces
  • Day 2 (Tuesday May 31sh): in a past era  ||  on another planet
  • Day 3 (Wednesday June 1st): (Back to) Pride
  • Day 4 (Thursday June 2nd): on the lips || anywhere but the lips
  • Day 5 (Friday June 3rd): while under a spell ||  it was all a dream
  • Day 6 (Saturday June 4nth): there’s a wedding ||  there’s a funeral
  • Day 7 (Sunday June 5th): free day, creator’s choice

Guidelines

The guidelines haven’t changed! You can create for any pairing from both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star, explore AUs or follow canon, match your favorite character with a new OC… go wherever inspiration takes you. As long as it’s a first kiss!

All types of creative content are welcome. Fics, edits, drawings, gifsets, anything you wanna create for these prompts. We’d love for you to share with us! Just pick the prompt(s) that inspire you and have fun!

Be kind to each other, respect other people’s work as you want them to respect yours.

Be kind to yourself. If you like a challenge and want to work on every prompt, go for it! If you prefer focusing on one prompt the entire week, that’s amazing too! There’s no right or wrong way to participate, just do your best and enjoy yourself.
