So I was thinking like is a day where Nat work to work and when reader woke up she wasn't there so it was only her a Bucky so she got a little teary eyed in the morning but Bucky understood because he missed her to, so though out the day she was sad/mopey but she had her happy moments but when it came time for a bottle/nap time she was not having it so when Bucky her in his arm trying to give her the bottle she was kicking him and crying, then she finally got out of his grip she ran to her room with her Blankey and stuffie in hand and cuddle up in the corner crying softly as she heard Bucky calling out for her and as he came in to her room he seen her in the corner and when he came in he still had the bottle and he sat down in the rocking chair knowing if he try to hold her she would freak so he is trying to convince her but she keep so no, so he ends up leaving and she falls asleep in the corner and when she wakes up again she hears Bucky talking and another person but can't make it out because she's to tired, so when at the end of the hall it's quiet but she wasn't look up at the time because she was rubbing her eyes but when she notices Bucky and Nat sitting next to each close and looking at her with disappointment then she gets nervous when Nat tell her to come here and stand in front of her and Nat tells her that what she did was wrong and she should and listened and can't any sweets for a three days ( or whatever you want is fine to) and she make y/n apologize to Bucky and he forgive her and she gives her a hug and a kiss and once thier doen Nat ask her why she didn't want a bottle and then y/n get shy and hides in Bucks neck and they both chuckle then she mumbles something but neither of them can make is our and bucky gentle and softly moves out from his neck and tells her then didn't hear her then she looks down and then glances at nats slightly exposed breast and whispers lowly boobies but Nat didn't hear but Bucky did and chuckled a little whispered what she wanted to Nat and Nat made her look at her and said she can't always get what she want and Said she has her milk in the freezer for she wants it, so then Nat ask if she wants some of course she said yes and then she got ready and started feed her as she did Bucky brushed y/n's baby hairs away and gently rubbed her cheek and she looked up at him.

Interview

Joe sits in the chair by Jimmy Fallon's desk, enjoying the interview.

"So, you have a daughter?" Jimmy asks.

"Yes." Joe nods, a small smile coming to his face as he thinks of his daughter.

"How old is she?" Jimmy asks.

"She is two." Joe answers.

"Do you care if she comes out here?" Jimmy asks.

"No. No, not at all." Joe says. The crowd starts to cheer and a woman leads Y/N towards the stage. The toddler girl is sucking on her thumb and tightly grasping onto a blankie.

She blinks at all the cheers, looking around, until she sees her dad beckoning her over. Y/N gets to Joe as quickly as possible, him lifting her into his lap once she's close enough.

The crowd gushes over her cuteness and she cuddles into Joe's chest, messing with a button on his shirt.

"You okay?" Joe quietly asks her and she nods.

"Hi, Y/N." Jimmy softly greets, waving at her.

"Say hi." Joe whispers.

"Hi." Y/N quietly tells the interviewer, both him and the crowd gushing over her being adorable.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/N. I'm Jimmy." He introduces. Y/N just nods, leaning into her dad more. "Do you know what your dad's job is?"

"Play pretend." Y/N answers.

"She's not wrong." Joe says. He softly rubs her back to reassure her that she's okay.

"Have you seen any of your dad's movies or shows?" Jimmy asks and Y/N shakes her head. "No?"

"He no let me." Y/N pouts making the audience laugh.

"When you're much, much, much older." Joe says. "She's seen the Domino's commercials." He adds making everybody laugh.

Y/N stays on Joe's lap the rest of the interview, refusing to leave him due to her comfort in being at his side.

"Baby, I told you they're in the wash. You can wear them tomorrow" he said holding your kitten pajamas in one hand and your bottle in the other, hoping you would finally let him dress you because he can see you're tired and a tantrum is the last thing he wants.

"No! Wan em now!" you stomp your foot and Eddie raised an eyebrow.

"Okay, I give you two options" he crossed his arms. "Option one, you let me put on your jammies and tuck you in bed with a bottle or you go in the naughty corner with only a towel and go to bed without a goodnight bottle," he said pointing at the said corner and your bottom lip wobbled.

"Don wan go corner daddy..." you mumbled looking down at your feet.

Eddie put your bottle aside and smiled while walking over to you. He pulled the hood from your head, unwrapped you out of the towel, and helped you put on your pajamas, tickling you sometimes to hopefully get you to smile a little.

"There we go, my pretty kitten" he kissed your nose and you giggled.

Eddie chuckled when you jumped on his bed and hid under the covers, whispering something to your dragon stuffie.

"What's going on under here" he climbed on the bed next to you and your head popped up from under the sheets. "Hello there"

"Hi daddy!" you smiled and shuffled a little higher up. Your eyes lit up when you saw him reaching out for your bottle and started to make grabby hands for it, whining when he held it from your reach. "Daddyyyy"

"I'm just messing with you baby" he chuckled and held the bottle to your lips. You instantly latched on and gave a content sigh.

Eddie just watched you slowly fall asleep and brushed your hair away while you sucked eagerly.

"Slow down, little junkie" he teased and when you grumbled a little he laughed, kissing your head.

Soon the bottle was empty and you turned so your face was pressed against Eddie's chest, grabbing his shirt with your hands as if he would disappear suddenly.

He put the bottle away and grabbed your black paci, gently slipping it past your lips. Then he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead.

"Goodnight kitten"

A/N: Oh man, I'm sorry its been so long! And that this isn't very much!! But I'm hoping to get back into the groove I was in earlier this year with my fics, and the first step is getting started!

Of course, neither Steve nor Bucky would EVER intentionally drop you, and are probably even more protective than the average person.
The only way I can imagine it happening honestly is if something happened with Bucky’s arm that he couldn’t control, because keeping you safe is as natural to him as breathing.
It wasn’t even a malfunction, quite the opposite actually.
Bucky had just gotten his arm refurbished in Wakanda, getting it equipped with new skills and updates, in addition to general upkeep.
