Solinh Week Prompt 7: Choice AU

By the way! The weekend has no official posting days. Take this time to catch up on old prompts, prepare for new ones, or take a break.

Please note that I have literally no idea what I’m doing, just have fun!

Inspiration for Writers and Artists

(as always, you have full freedom for whatever AU you desire, but here are some ideas)

- Coffee Shop AU

— Who's the barista/customer? This is a pretty common one, but there are a lot of twists and stuff you can add.

— You can also add on some other tropes if you want (mutual pining/meet-cute being the first one to come to mind).

- Royalty AU

— What are their positions? How did they meet? Are they from the same kingdom, or neighboring ones? Is one of them royalty and the other not?

- Rivals AU

— Why are they fighting? Are they on opposite sides of the war, or is it just their schools? Enemies to lovers?

- Human AU

— What's the backstory for how they met? Are they from different schools? What are their friend groups like? What's it like without the Neverseen? What's their backstory

— This is also a more casual one, so you can slap on something like star-crossed lovers, or friends-to-lovers if you want.

There are a lot of ideas, but these are just a few of my favorites popular ones. Have fun, run wild!

Solinh Week Prompt 6: Angst

The posting day for this is August 4.

Please note that I have literally no idea what I’m doing, just have fun!

Inspiration for Writers

- "I lost control of my ability and hurt a lot of people, including you, (and I'm terrified of hurting anyone else)"

- "You keep doing reckless things and I can't keep pretending like I'm okay with this"

- "Someone close to me got seriously hurt and I can't take this anymore"

- "I/you decided to join the Neverseen"

- "Tell me that I'm enough for you, even though it isn't true"

- "Being with me means being with all of me, not just the nice and happy parts"

(you guys know what angst is, run wild)

Inspiration for Artists

This, again, is a more posing-heavy prompt, but some ideas, aside from the above prompts, are-

- break-up

- betrayals

- crying/angry

- holding the other person in your arms (this could also work as a character-death thing)

- battle scene

The Swaying Rhythm of Rain

Pairing: romantic Sophie x Linh

Trigger Warnings: lighting, thunder, kissing, side character having a small ptsd flashback (it’s not too bad, just implied and it doesn’t get too serious, but please read at your own risk 💛), mention of food, and let me know if i missed anything!

It’s warm inside, with the fire crackling merrily in the fireplace and the heater running. Outside, a thick layer of snow is blanketing the world, but Sophie’s perfectly content curled up on the couch, warm as can be. She burrows deeper into her thick blanket, tucking her toes in and looking at the movie she’s watching with interest.

Keefe lets out a loud whoop from the other side of the room, startling her slightly. Keefe and Tam are having a heated game of Monopoly, and judging by the way Keefe is now dancing around while Tam scowls, she’s guessing Keefe just had a victory.

Sophie resumes paying attention to the movie, fully immersed in the dramatic story of two star-crossed lovers. Only a few minutes later, she’s startled by another shout.

“It’s snowing!”

I don’t have a ton of ideas for this one, sorry. You could draw both of their pets (or just one), or you could draw them with (or as?) their pets? As always, you could just expand on one of the above writing prompts, or focus on one character. Have fun!

- “I tripped over something and you caught me”

- “I was trying to play a prank on someone, but it ended up getting you instead”

- “I’m in an insanely dangerous situation that I got into of my own accord, and you saved me”

(Writing isn’t my speciality, so again, feel free to interpretate this how you see it)

Inspiration for Artists

This prompt is a lot more posing heavy, and I don’t want to make this too specific, but some ideas I can think of are drawing one of the above prompts. You could also play around with awkward scenarios (like having one or both of them blushing). Yeah- just be creative!
