TianShan, A Model’s Salary

The art was commissioned to me by @millpang on Twitter. I have been given permission to post. This is my story to go with the art.

——————————————

The white vinyl backdrop overtook the length of the wall in the photography studio, with the cameras, the lights, and the softboxes looming over the set in a way that made whoever stood before it appear ethereal-like with the glow and perfect focus of the lenses centered on their being alone.

Behind all this, people were bustling in and out, with the photographers and the make-up artists scrambling people about, appearing as if a whirlwind of events were taking place all at once. The room seemed too small for so many people, making Mo feel claustrophobic.

“It’s too loud,” Mo Guan Shan thought. Why did he even agree to this? Mo Guan Shan was given a pair of red swim trunks by a blushing young intern, and he was made to change behind a foldable changing screen made of panel-woven bamboo. It didn’t offer very much cover, so he felt exposed as he took off his sweatpants and put on the designer trunks, changing as quickly as he could.

“They look good on you,” He Tian said. Mo spun around to find that He Tian had come behind the screen and stood next to him, his black eyes gazing at him fondly. He them began to strip immediately and ignored Mo’s curses to go to another screen. He took his time undoing the buttons of his white-collared shirt, his toned abs slowly becoming exposed until the material slipped to the floor. As He Tian got to the buckle of his belt, he caught Mo’s eyes and grinned. “Enjoying the view?” He asked.

“Idiot,” Mo Guan Shan replied, but his ears tinged red and he turned away, getting ready to take off his t-shirt.

“I can get that for you,” He Tian said. Mo felt He Tian’s hands brush along his waist as his t-shirt began being lifted suddenly, his fingers grazing over Mo’s taut muscles. Mo Guan Shan gasped and stepped back, feeling He Tian’s chest behind him. His words were cut off as the shirt was going over his head, and once it was flung away carelessly by He Tian, Mo Guan found the words to say, “Bastard.” He Tian took off his pants next, his slim but muscular legs even more fitting in the tight black swim jammers he was now putting on. It left little to the imagination as the nylon material clung to his body and accentuated his body attractively. “Ready?” He asked Mo.

“How much did you say they would pay again...?” Mo Guan Shan asked, beginning to regret his decision. He Tian brought his arm around Mo’s shoulder naturally, enjoying the warmth of Mo’s body under his touch and replied, “Enough to make this worth it.”

As they stepped out together, the director of the photoshoot nodded his head and looked at them approvingly while many of the women working there stepped back and started to squeal. “Oh yes, oh YES, this is what I’m talking about!” He picked at his glasses and squinted many times like he had something in his eyes. A habit, it seemed. “Marvelous, ten out of ten. You brought me a good one, He Tian, my love. Can I keep him?”

He looked Mo up and down, and Mo looked away under his uncomfortable stare. “Definitely a bad idea,” Mo thought.

“He’s taken,” He Tian answered smoothly, winking at the direction of the ladies who very nearly collapsed in their swooning.

“Shame, such a shame. You never did learn to share,” the director replied playfully. “In any case, let’s not waste any more time. Time is of the essence here. He Tian, you know the drill.”

“Come with me, Little Mo,” He Tian whispered as he dipped his head close to Mo’s ear and led him towards the white backdrop. As they positioned themselves at the center in front of the cameras, Mo Guan Shan began to fidget. The lights were glaring and a bit overwhelming. There were too many people staring at them, too.

Sweat was beginning to gather along Mo’s forehead, and his breath started to become uneven. He Tian noticed this, and turned Mo around by his shoulders so that they were now facing each other. “Don’t look at the cameras,” He Tian instructed him. “Just look at me. I’m right here with you.” He Tian then turned to the director and asked, “Can you get someone to bring us a chair?”

“You heard him,” the Director called out to one of the workers, and within minutes a sturdy wooden chair was brought over. Mo Guan Shan looked confused when he saw He Tian take a seat (just one chair?), only to have He Tian grab his arm and suddenly yank down. Mo Guan Shan tumbled onto his lap with a gasp and blushed crimson, while the attending ladies and even some of the men blushed at their display. “My boy, you’ve done it again!” The Director cried out. “Always coming up with poses even I have not thought of! Come now, why are you slacking, cameraman! Now is the time to capture them, it will make for the perfect shot!”

“The fuck are you doing...” Mo Guan Shan said under his breath, aware he was being watched at every moment. Mo Guan Shan made as if to stand, but He Tian still held onto him, his hand now gripping Mo’s wrist firmly. He Tian brought his other hand down to Mo’s hip, his fingers playing with the material of his red shorts.

“Little Mo, look at me,” He Tian said softly, his voice low and hot as their faces were within inches of one another. Mo Guan Shan slowly turned to look at him, his eyebrows knitted in his usual scowl, and found himself looking at the warm expression on He Tian’s face. He Tian was smiling sincerely, as if he could not be happier, and his eyes were shining brightly. Even for Mo, He Tian looked enticing, and Mo couldn’t hold his stare for long.

During this time, Mo Guan Shan did not hear the multiple clicks of the camera taking photo after photo, and he could barely register any of the noise that overwhelmed him in the beginning. It felt as if everything in the background had faded out, or as if none of what was happening around them mattered while Mo had gazed into He Tian’s face. He almost wanted to reach out and—

“This is the one!” The Director said while pointing at the screen showing all the photos that were taken. “I want this on the cover of the swimsuit magazine.”

“Are we done now?” Mo Guan Shan asked.

He Tian ruffled Mo’s hair and replied, “Yes, we are. See, it wasn’t so bad. Go ahead and change now while I finish up something here.” He Tian allowed Mo to stand. Mo was relieved and eagerly went over to change. As he stepped around the foldable screen, his hand lingered on the edge of it and Mo watched as He Tian walked over towards the Director, pointing at all the photos and whispering something into his ear. The Director laughed boisterously at whatever was said, and the last thing Mo saw before turning away completely was the peaceful expression on He Tian’s face as he gazed down at the screen.

TianShan, Midnight

This was commissioned to me by @le_la_les_0. I have been given permission to post. This is my short story to go with the art.

——————————————

The city looked glorious from the high-rise apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows made the view appear even more grand with the lights of the vibrant streets, the height of the surrounding skyscrapers, and the rushing past of cars from afar creating a rather beautiful vignette. Their bodies were mirrored against this scene, but they weren’t looking outside.

“We should be sleeping by now,” Mo Guan Shan thought, but he should have known better. Every time they made it to He Tian’s apartment, He Tian’s mind would go south and they would find themselves in the most interesting situations. Right now, for example, Mo Guan Shan was straddling He Tian’s legs, and his hands were touching He Tian’s bare shoulders, the skin cold under his palms.

“Close your eyes and open your mouth, Little Mo,” He Tian said shamelessly, his black eyes raking over Mo’s body hungrily. He Tian had complimented him on his choice of clothes, and liked the way the black tank-top showed off Mo’s slim but muscular frame.

“And why the hell would I do that?” Mo asked, scowling down at He Tian who was looking up at him with want. It was not often that Mo Guan Shan was able to look down on He Tian as the other man was taller, but from this position, there was something akin to vulnerableness in He Tian’s appearance. “He doesn’t hold anything back,” Mo Guan Shan thought. That’s what the feeling was. He Tian left himself completely open, but only to him.

“Please?” He Tian stuck out his tongue playfully.

“I won’t close my eyes,” Mo Guan Shan said, relenting and thinking it was a fair compromise. He also didn’t like surprises. He opened his mouth and mirrored He Tian’s actions.

“Suit yourself.” He Tian raised one hand to rest at Mo’s waist, and the other to rest on Mo’s thigh, barely skimming the fabric of his green shorts. He Tian leaned forward and before Mo could react, he kissed Mo open-mouthed, their tongues slick and hot against each other. Mo’s grip tightened on He Tian’s shoulders, more than likely leaving a bruise the next morning. He Tian prolonged the kiss by bringing his hand behind Mo’s neck, feeling as Mo relaxed into it. When they finally broke apart, Mo’s face was flushed and his eyes were unfocused. He Tian had stirred him up and it felt as if he had just taken an aphrodisiac. He Tian was leaning in for a second kiss when Mo stopped him by placing one hand on his forehead. “Why are you stopping me?” He Tian asked.

“I need to go to work tomorrow,” Mo Guan Shan groaned breathlessly. He Tian leaned his head into Mo’s chest and sighed heavily, defeated. Mo took the chance to smile since He Tian wasn’t looking. This action only made him appear more child-like.

“Then comfort me,” He Tian said, shaking his head in place, his black hair ticking Mo’s chest.

“Idiot,” Mo chided softly. He brought his hand up to He Tian’s soft hair and rustled it gently, feeling as He Tian grew still to his touch.

“Definitely childish,” Mo Guan Shan thought affectionately.

TianShan, In Your Arms

This was commissioned to me by @millpang on Twitter. I have been given permission to post. This is the story to go with it.

——————————————-

“Auntie was very nice to me when I picked you up today. I should get her flowers on the way back~” He Tian said as he drove, occasionally stealing glances at Mo Guan Shan who looked incredibly handsome in his suit. Mo Guan Shan was staring out the window, looking at the dimly lit streets and the street vendors who were still selling their deliciously hot delicacies. He Tian made a mental note of that, making sure their next date would be visiting these same streets the next time so that Mo could eat to his heart’s content. Right now, though, their school was holding a reunion in order to celebrate their achievements with the years gone by. A dance was being held to commemorate this special day. It took a lot of convincing on his part, mostly through a lot of sex, but he finally managed to get Mo’s consent. “You’ll come with me?”He Tian remembered asking Mo after a light romp in bed, tilting Mo’s head to gaze into his half-lidded eyes, and got an affirmation through a soft hum that escaped his lips.

“Will Zhan Zheng Serious and Jian Yi be there?” Mo Guan Shan asked, shaking him from his thoughts.

“You know it,” He Tian replied. They were nearing the parking lot of the school now. It changed very little since they had last been there, but the gymnasium was larger now, with new additions having been made from what he could see. As soon as he parked the car, Mo Guan Shan was already stepping out, taking in the sight of the school and letting the nostalgia seep in. A brisk wind tousled his red hair, and his memories, both the good and the bad, came flashing to him like a cinematic film, all in sequential order. The memories caught up to the present time with He Tian standing beside him now without saying anything, leaving this moment between them uninterrupted as it needed to be.

He Tian took out his lighter and a pack of cigarettes, lighting one up before breathing it in. “Give me one,” Mo Guan Shan said, reaching out to grab one from the pack in his hand. He Tian held it back, though, smirking as he did so. Instead, he leaned in close to Mo’s face. “What are you—“ Mo Guan Shan’s mouth was parted when He Tian shotgunned the smoke into him, causing Mo to cough and to yell, “Fuck you!”

“Good. You know I don’t like it when you smoke, Little Mo,” He Tian said, taking in a few more smokes before dropping the cigarette from his hand and crushing it under his foot. “Shall we get going?”

———————————-

Mo Guan Shan was already regretting being there. The gymnasium hall was packed with people, with white chairs and round tables set up all around the room but with a large space at the center left for when it came time to dance. Crowds were one thing he couldn’t stand. “I want to go home,” he said, turning around and abruptly heading towards the door. He Tian snaked his arm across his waist and pulled him close. “We just got here, give it a chance. You might start to like it. Let’s go get some drinks.”

“This is the last time I listen to you,” Mo Guan Shan replied, but nevertheless allowed himself to be led to the snack and drinks area set up across the wall of the gymnasium. However, they did not make it very far when He Tian was suddenly surrounded by many women, all gushing and getting up close to him, blushing and making a scene. “He Tian! You are even more handsome!” “He Tian, do you remember me? From Class A? Can I have your number?” “Let’s take a photo together!” “He Tian is still so hot!” “I saw him first!” While all this was happening, Mo Guan inadvertently became separated from He Tian, while He Tian had to manage the undesired attention with his polite smile plastered across his face. Mo Guan Shan almost felt bad for him, but remembered He Tian wouldn’t share a cigarette so he felt this was due justice and contentedly headed off to the snack area alone.

Along the way, he felt an arm rest across his shoulder and a high-pitched voice say, “Red, you actually came! You know, you actually look like someone when you dress up!” Mo Guan Shan turned to see Jian Yi’s face very close to his own, with Zhan Zheng Xi standing beside Jian Yi. Even as a man, he thought they both looked very handsome in a short glance, as Jian Yi wore an impeccable white suit and Xi wore a dark blue one. “This guy never learned the meaning of personal space,” Mo thought, but wasn’t truly annoyed. In fact, he appreciated Jian Yi’s genuine and carefree personality as few people acted that way towards him. Xi was still the same reserved and calm person he has always been, and studied Mo Guan Shan’s face before looking back at He Tian, understanding clouding his face.

“Is that supposed to be a compliment?...” Mo Guan Shan didn’t make a move to shrug away and instead began to pile up a plate with food, favoring the sandwiches over the rest. “How long do you two plan on being here?”

“Zhan Zheng Xi came for the food and I came for the dance,” Jian Yi announced loudly. “But we probably won’t be here long because Xi Xi has two left feet, if you know what I mean.”

“You don’t have to let him know that...” Zhan Zheng Xi said with a slight blush, and Mo Guan Shan couldn’t help but smirk. “Anyway, we came to say hello and to let you know where we’re sitting. Come look for us when you’re done. If you want,” he added. Xi was more perceptive to Mo’s personality, and knew it was better to keep the offer open-ended.

Mo Guan Shan nodded. “Thanks,” he replied. Now by himself, he stole a glance at He Tian, but he couldn’t very well see him with the swarm of people surrounding him. There were some men gathered around him too, but they were mostly trying to pry their girlfriends/wives away from He Tian. “He is still so popular after all this time. Of all the people to end up with, why would he choose me?” Mo hated the insecurities that still rose up from time to time. He knew he had a temper, and that he did not come from a wealthy family. His father was still in prison, whom he visited whenever he was given permission to do so. He worked low-wage jobs still, even with He Tian offering to get him something better or even more than that, having Mo not work at all. Mo would never agree to that though, he just could never allow himself to accept handouts. With all this, he couldn’t understand why, even when He Tian had to leave for long periods of time (He Tian would never tell him why), He Tian would always come back to him without fail.

“Mo Guan Shan?” Mo looked down to see a young, petite woman looking up at him. He did not recognize her. “Do I know you?” He responded, to which he later thought the question came out rather tersely, and even rudely.

“Of course you don’t remember me,” she blushed. “We were in the same class together, for history. You sat in front of me, and you were usually sleeping.” She tucked her brown hair behind her ear. “That was years ago. Anyway, I wanted to say you look very good in that suit. And I wanted to ask if you came here by yourself?” Mo Guan Shan was dumbfounded. Of course he wouldn’t remember her, he was never awake in that class. Right now though, he didn’t understand why she approached him, and what she saw in him now that made her ask this. Part of him thought this was a joke, and she was dared to do this. Another part of him thought she was honest, but he wanted to respond in a way that would reject her in the softest way possible. This was something he had no idea how to do.

—————————————-

He Tian was losing patience. It was his idea to come to this, but now he was the one regretting it. His expectation was to be with Mo the entire night, but as things were now, these ladies would not leave him alone. While giving them his quick, witty replies, He Tian strained to catch a glimpse of Mo Guan Shan. The first time, he became relaxed when he saw Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi with him, knowing he was in good company. Now, though, he saw an unfamiliar brunette uncomfortably close to Mo (Who is she? Did Mo know her?) She was speaking to him (What are they talking about?) And she was tucking her hair behind her ear, coyly. “Not okay, not okay, not okay,” He Tian thought repeatedly. He was excusing himself from the women surrounding him, ignoring their laments and protests, and he began to briskly walk towards Mo, parting between the people in front of him smoothly but urgently until he was resting his arm on Mo’s shoulder, possessively. “Care to introduce me to your friend, Mo Guan Shan?”

————————————-

“He Tian.” Mo Guan Shan was relieved to have He Tian at his side now. “She was a classmate from years ago...” His voice trailed off as he realized he didn’t know her name. He looked at her apologetically. Seeing them together, she was overwhelmed by their good looks combined. “Vivi,” she stammered. “I was asking if he was here alone—“

“He’s not,” He Tian cut her off with a smile.

“Oh...” Her voice trailed off. She looked around the room. “Is she sitting at one of the tables?” She wasn’t entirely convinced Mo was taken.

“You misunderstand.” He Tian removed his arm from Mo Guan Shan’s shoulder and instead placed his hand on Mo’s waist. Vivi looked at them and blushed profusely. “Oh.” She jerked her head a couple of times in short bows. “I’m sorry for interrupting!” She stated and to He Tian she sighed, “You’re so lucky.”

“Thank you,” He replied. “You’ll find yours soon.” When she had gone, He Tian found Mo Guan Shan staring at him. “What are you thinking about?”

“Nothing, just— nothing.” Mo Guan didn’t want to thank him for coming over, or to tell him what he was thinking about before. He also didn’t understand why the girl told He Tian he was lucky. In his mind, it was the other way around.

“I’ll get you to tell me everything once we get home,” He Tian muttered softly, running his hand through Mo’s hair. “His hair always feels good,” he thought before grabbing a plate for himself and beginning to select the contents such as chicken and rice, and mashed potatoes and salad. He also took a sandwich to save Mo a second trip, and then finished his selection with a cup of red wine. “Where to?” He asked.

“Jian Yi and Xi saved us a spot,” Mo Guan Shan replied, arching his chin to signal where they were seated.

“How sweet of them,” He Tian said playfully, and allowed Mo to lead the way towards the table. Each table accommodated a group of four people, which suited them perfectly. Once their, the boisterous Jian Yi began rattling off about how it had been a long time since the four of them were together, and that they should meet up more often. He Tian laughed, and told him me must be having memory problems since they had seen each other not two weeks before. “You know what I mean though. Like an actually get-together. A vacation, even? If only one of us were rich...” Jian Yi smiled a mockingly sad smile, and Xi bumped him with his elbow. “Just kidding!”

“No, no. That’s actually a good idea. I can accommodate that, as long as you all open up your schedules.” Jian Yi was gushing and already making plans, speaking excitedly to Zhan Zheng Xi about where they should go. Meanwhile, He Tian took a drink of the wine and asked, “What do you think, Little Mo?”

Before Mo could answer, someone’s voice rung loudly through the speaker systems. The individual thanked everyone for being their today, and gave a relatively short speech about how he was honored that so many people came, and how he was sure they were contributing to society in a positive way. After listing off the names of the people who prepared the event, everyone applauded at the end and shortly after the lights dimmed, leaving only the center of the gymnasium illuminated. Slow music started filling the halls of the room and as if in cue, couples began making their way to dance. Jian Yi was one of the first to go, practically sweeping Zhan Zheng Xi off his feet and no, Jian Yi was not kidding when he said hinted at Xi being a terrible dancer.

“If anyone asks, we don’t know them,” Mo Guan Shan said. He Tian chuckled, and then smoothly brought his hand over Mo’s. “Will you dance with me?” He Tian asked expectantly.

“People are going to be staring because of you,” Mo Guan Shan said after a minute, a small blush beginning to color his cheeks. His eyes were clouded with indecisiveness.

“Then let them stare,” He Tian answered. He firmly held Mo’s hand and pulled him towards the dance floor, leading them forward with resolve. Mo Guan Shan let out a soft gasp when he was pulled into He Tian’s body with a sharp tug of his arm. He Tian placed his hand along the small of Mo’s back, raising his suit jacket to reach at Mo’s waist suggestively. He Tian had caught Mo from stumbling by bringing his leg forward and by raising one of their arms overhead, smoothly aligning their bodies in a way that showed adeptness to dance. Mo Guan Shan looked upward, blushing at how close their faces were, their noses practically touching. He Tian gazed into Mo’s eyes as if he were the only one in the room worth looking at. “You look so beautiful,” He Tian said in a low voice that only Mo could hear. He lowered his head so that his lips were brushing his ear. “Thank you for coming with me tonight. You don’t know happy I am because of you.”

“You don’t have to thank me,” Mo Guan Shan mumbled, embarrassed. He wondered how red his face was, and he did his best to ignore the women who were practically watering at the mouths because of their interaction. Some were even taking pictures, but He Tian didn’t seem to mind. “I actually don’t hate it that much,” Mo said.

He Tian gave a short, attractive laugh then. “What’s so funny?” Mo asked in the middle of being spun gently by He Tian. “You texted something similar a long time ago,” He Tian replied, smiling. Now Mo was being dipped low by He Tian, and Mo Guan Shan held on to He Tian’s arms firmly, their movements both graceful and lithe.

Mo was no longer thinking about the people around them, and simply allowed himself to share this moment with He Tian, to let these memories burn in his mind and heart in all its intensity. He didn’t even realize how much time had passed, didn’t notice as one by one couples began to leave, as the gymnasium grew more empty. At some point Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi had escaped to share in their own tender moment of intimacy. No words needed to be exchanged when such moments came, and no apologies were in order.

Once the last song was played, He Tian still lingered in his embrace against Mo. Mo Guan Shan squirmed a little, bringing his arms up to his chest, but he didn’t push He Tian away. “Isn’t—isn’t it time for you to let me go?” Mo Guan Shan asked.

“Never,” He Tian said, burrowing his head onto Mo’s neck, his embrace becoming more passionate.

“I’ll never let you go.”

TianShan, Fallen Angel

This was commissioned to me by HWAN @Hwan_97 on Twitter. I have been given permission to post, please give all the love to the artist. This is my story to go along with the art.

——————————————

The chains bit too closely into Mo’s wrists, chafing at the skin enough to draw blood. The feelings of physical pain and unease that he had not experienced in a long time were resurfacing, and he now had to contend with the harsh voices of mockery at his ear, the unruly crowd of demonic beings, most grotesque and abominable in their appearance, gathered to watch the fallen seraphim be led through a broken, stony path towards the most imposing tower of the dark world.

“It is so hard to breath,” Mo Guan Shan thought, as searing heat emanated from everywhere, from everything. There was no surface that did not feel as it were burning under the slightest touch, no gust of wind that brought relief from the oppressive air, humid and tortuously dry in its wake. He desperately needed a drink of cold water; even the fewest drops of it on his tongue would have brought the greatest sense of relief.

Suddenly, Mo Guan Shan felt the unmistakeable slash of a whip across his back, hearing the snap of it and holding in the cry he knew the guard wanted to elicit from him. He gritted his teeth and pushed forward, unable to understand the insults hurled at him as the creature spoke in an unfamiliar dialect. If he had enough strength, he would have fought back. Even bound as he was and having been stripped of his rank, he was by no means weak. However, he knew it would be a losing battle with the number of demons surrounding him.

After what felt like hours, Mo Guan Shan found himself standing before an enormous gate of steel, the tower strategically situated on a mountainous terrain and structured to be a fortified stronghold of great, deadly power. The height of the tower appeared to have no end in sight, but undoubtedly culminated with the sharp pinnacles that gave the tower its menacing form.

A loud horn sounded from behind him, loud enough for Mo to feel the ground shake underneath his feet. There was a horn that sounded from inside the tower in response, and then the gates began to open slowly. Mo was pushed forward roughly and he stumbled, recollecting his balance with his next couple of steps. He was surprised to find that while there was still a sense of dread within the walls, it was also rather beautiful in a gothic way. The dark corridors were lined with statues of what he presumed to be important figures of this world, and the stone walls were lined with torches of fire that illuminated the pathway.

He was not able to get a closer look at his surroundings as Mo was led hurriedly up an old world spiraling staircase, catching glimpses of the outside with each window they passed. Mo felt they had been walking for a long time before the creatures handling him stopped before a large and elegantly crafted, carved cedar wood door. It felt so out of place in this setting, but Mo didn’t think too much about it as one of demons pounded the door with the brass door knock, engraved with the face of a devil. Footsteps could be heard from the other side, and the door was unlocked.

Expecting to see another creature, Mo was surprised to see what appeared to be a human-like figure with light-gray hair, tall and built with tattoos lining his right arm, but was immediately corrected in his view as he saw the devilish wings. The wings distinguished this one apart from the creatures that had bound him. He was higher in rank, his blood running with that of greater beings. Like him.

After giving Mo a once-over, this demon only permitted Mo to follow, leading him deeper inside the room which was clearly more grandiose than when they had come in. Dark roses embedded the walls along the floor-to-ceiling windows, hundreds of books were lined inside a shelf that covered the entire length of the left wall, and at the very end of the room, Mo could see a large desk built of black marble that was adorned with semi-precious stone. A demon was seated at this desk, and he remained transfixed at the sight of Mo. He wore a military jacket that had crimson shoulder epaulettes connecting a cape which draped along his sides. His black hair was neatly parted, with some of it curving slightly over his forehead. Horns crowned both his head and the top of his wings. His eyes locked onto the studs on Mo’s ears, and he smiled. “They look better on you then I could have ever imagined, Mo Guan Shan.”

“He Tian.” Mo said nothing else and watched as He Tian stood up from his desk. In a few strides he was in front of Mo, and began circling around him as if he were surveying a prize. That really wasn’t far off the mark, as Mo Guan Shan was nothing more than the spoils of war. He Tian froze behind him, and his voice grew hard. “Who did this?” Mo felt a touch at his back and along his wings, and winced. Fresh blood coated He Tian’s fingers. “I did not give anyone permission to touch you, much less to draw blood.” The way his voice dropped unsettled even Mo. “Qiu.”

“I’ll take care of it,” the other responded. As soon as Qiu left the room, Mo heard low voices outside followed by a sharp screeching that died out almost immediately after. Qiu re-entered the room as of nothing had happened only to briefly announce he was being summoned by He Tian’s brother. “Will you be alright without me?” he asked.

“More than alright,” He Tian responded. There was amusement in his voice, and a different emotion Mo couldn’t understand. With Qiu having left, Mo now found himself alone with He Tian. The pace of his heart quickened, and he hoped to appear as unconcerned as he would have liked to have felt.

“You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for you,” He Tian started. He came around to stand in front of Mo and began to remove the chains binding his hands. He surveyed the bruising on his wrists and his eyebrows furrowed. He Tian let the chains drop to the floor with a loud clunk and held on to Mo’s hands, being so attentive to them that Mo’s ear began to tinge red. “Forgive me,” He Tian said.

“You don’t need to ask a prisoner for forgiveness,” Mo Guan Shan replied dismissively.

“We both know that’s not what you are,” He Tian countered softly.

“Really? The chains speak differently.” Mo Guan Shan withdrew his hands and turned from him.

“That was a precautionary measure. You can have quite the temper.” Mo turned back around to glare at him. “Like that,” He Tian added.

“It doesn’t matter now. Our deal. How can I trust you won’t break your promise?” Mo Guan Shan asked.

He Tian didn’t say anything for a while. He moved forward and leaned in close to Mo. “Your life for Jian Yi’s, you mean?” He Tian whispered, and then stepped back, beginning to pace around the room as he spoke. “He is much too curious for his own good. How he managed to stumble his way down here is anyone’s guess, but he must be very loved, considering how all of you were ready to reach havoc on existence as we know it for that one angel. But why didn’t you let Zhan Zheng Xi take the fall? He was more than willing to.”

“We both know neither of them belong down here,” Mo Guan Shan’s voice hardened.

He Tian stopped mid-pace, and cocked his head to the side. “And you do?”

“Yes,” he answered immediately. “I do. I can handle the pain. I don’t care about getting hurt, or dying a thousand times over if I have to. But they... are much too pure for that, and I am not. I was never meant to be like them.” His hands shook slightly as he said this.

“You don’t think you were meant to be an angel?” He Tian asked in astonishment, and then shook his head. “You are wrong though, and your actions prove it to me. From the moment I laid eyes on you, and saw your determination to fight and your willingness to risk everything you had, from that very moment I knew I had already lost to you.”

“Lost to me?” Mo Guan Shan asked. He Tian wasn’t making any sense. Mo Guan Shan bet that He Tian never lost a day in his life.

“Do you know what it means to be in love?” He Tian asked as he began to come towards him once more.

Mo Guan Shan blushed profusely at this sudden question. “What does that have to do with anything?” Mo Guan Shan looked up at He Tian who was now standing in front of him, but the longing in He Tian’s eyes made him look away.

“It means everything. It’s the reason you’re here now.” He Tian’s breath tickled his ear. He was too damn close.

Mo Guan Shan knew he should hate He Tian. He had to give up his place as an angel in order to allow Jian Yi to be released from this hell, to then be safely returned to heaven. This truce was decided upon after several days of war had been waged, with much blood having been shed on both sides. The conditions were ultimately set forth by the prince of this world, and this prince was now speaking to him of love. Mo Guan Shan should hate He Tian more than anything, and yet...

“I know you felt something, too,” He Tian continued. “When we fought. The look in your eyes should had been the death of me. I’d never seen so much hatred, can you believe that?” He Tian smiled to himself, reminiscing. “You looked so beautiful out of breath, and with your face flushed wonderfully red. I hadn’t had such a good sparring session in a long time, and you really had me close a couple of times. Do you remember what you said to me?”

“Stop.” Mo Guan Shan didn’t want to hear any more. He didn’t want to feel anything for him. He began to walk towards the door. Where would he go? Where could he escape to? Was this really his new life now? The reality was beginning to sink in, and he was starting to become afraid.

Mo Guan Shan felt strong arms wrap around from behind him, but the hold on him was gentle, soothing almost. “You told me to go fuck myself,” He Tian began to laugh softly, and Mo Guan Shan felt his body quiver against his own. His laughter relaxed him, and for some reason he found himself not pulling away from He Tian. “No one had ever dared speak to me that way before. It was because you were not afraid of me.” His grip on Mo’s waist tightened. “You will never have to be afraid of me.”

“I’m not welcome here,” Mo Guan Shan said, bringing light to the fact that while he didn’t have to fear He Tian, he didn’t feel safe here. “I have no freedom.” Rather than answer him, Mo Guan Shan felt He Tian’s breath against his neck, and then a kiss. “What are you doing?!” Mo grabbed the arm at his waist in surprise.

“No one will ever touch you again once they know you are mine.” He Tian kissed his neck once more, and then brought his hand up to Mo’s chin, turning his head so their eyes would meet. “Are you scared?” He Tian asked him.

Mo Guan Shan gazed back into He Tian’s coal eyes, indecision flickering across his face. He forced himself to remember why he was doing this, and found the resolve to follow through when the thoughts came to him. Could he trust He Tian? Mo Guan Shan didn’t have to think long on that question as he looked at the earnestness in He Tian’s eyes. “I’m not scared,” he answered honestly.

He Tian smiled against his back, and then he turned Mo’s face forward. “Little Mo,” He Tian whispered endearingly, and then he opened his mouth to bite at the nape of Mo’s neck, closing his eyes to relish the taste of him. Mo Guan Shan’s lips parted in a silent cry, and he felt He Tian’s finger slide through them sensuously. He Tian ran his tongue along the length of the mark to soothe it, causing Mo’s head to roll back in spite of himself. “There,” He Tian said, releasing his hold on Mo Guan Shan and admiring both the bite and the studs on Mo’s ears.

“That’s it?” Mo Guan Shan asked. Mo was surprised that was all it took to be veiled under He Tian’s protection.

“Oh, you want more, do you?~ He Tian opened his arms and grinned widely. “I’m all yours.”

Mo Guan Shan turned five different shades of red after realizing what he said. “Th-that’s not what I meant! Fuck you!”

“You hurt me,” He Tian said, not looking hurt at all, and then remembered the cut on Mo’s back. “Which reminds me, let’s get your wound cleaned up so I can show you something fun.”

Mo Guan Shan looked at him incredulously. “Something fun?” He Tian saw the glint of curiosity in Mo’s eyes and without thinking about it, his hand reached out to caress Mo’s neck.

He Tian smiled darkly, and leaned in to whisper into Mo’s ear. “Have you ever wondered what a shark looks like in hell?”

TianShan, Wet Dreams Or...

@marmalalde commissioned this beautiful art. Please support the artist. This is my story to go with it. It is very sexual, as you may have surmised from the title.

——————————————

The silhouette of two men, their bodies enveloped in tangled sheets, lay together in tranquil sleep as darkness overtook their slumber. He Tian’s arms encircled Mo’s chest, protective even in rest, with He Tian interlocking their fingers together. The bedroom was enveloped in the soft, rhythmic breathing of the two, and the occasional stirring in bed would unconsciously lead one of them to re-adjust, seeking out the warmth of the other, protesting in incoherent grumbles, until a sigh of contentment escaped their lips and they sank back into their dreams once more.

Mo Guan Shan dreamt of He Tian. In the dream, He Tian was embracing him, rubbing comforting circles on his back with one hand while telling him what a badass he was. Mo didn’t know why he was crying, but He Tian kissed him, trailing the tears on his cheek with his lips until the tears spilled down Mo’s neck. He Tian then brought his lips to Mo’s neck and licked, tasting the salty residue on his hot tongue and then leaning his body into Mo to whisper into his ear the things he wanted to do to him. Mo Guan Shan burned, and He Tian bit at Mo’s ear, chuckling when Mo tried to hit him. The hand at his back traveled lower, cupping his ass and resting there. He Tian’s other hand, the one that before had been gently rustling his red hair, came down also, and now both hands were kneading and fondling Mo, spreading him apart, with one of He Tian’s fingers probing into Mo over his clothes, making Mo squirm and gasp, cursing and pushing at He Tian with balled fists at his chest, until the latter let go reluctantly.

All of a sudden, Mo found they were standing completely undressed before one another, their clothes having disappeared without a trace. “What in the chicken-dick is going on?!” Mo Guan Shan yelled out and tried to cover himself with his hands, but He Tian had no sense of modesty and relished in seeing Mo flustered and exposed before him, the beautiful man trembling and, He Tian smirked at this sight: hard. Mo could almost see the devilish horns when He Tian got into this mood and began to slowly take measured steps backwards.

“Where are you going?” He Tian sauntered after him as if he were prey, and the ease of his gait unnerved Mo Guan Shan more than it should have. Mo then bumped his head behind something, and found that he had backed up into a wall. Fuck. He Tian stopped in front of him, slamming one hand next to Mo’s head and standing only inches away from him. Their breaths intermingled, and Mo could feel his heart racing. He Tian held Mo’s gaze and, making sure Mo didn’t look away, ran his hand down his built abs, biting his lower lip and cocking his head slightly, while giving Mo the most smoldering look imaginable. Mo’s mouth watered, but he ended up trying to turn his head to the side, averting He Tian’s stare. The hand next to his head shot outward, and roughly gripped Mo’s jaw, forcing him to face forward. “Don’t. Look. Away.” Mo glared at him, but was made to watch as He Tian’s hands traveled lower, down to his own dick, and he began to jerk himself off slowly. “This is so fucking hot,” Mo Guan Shan thought, his anger dissipating quickly, and he licked his own lips at this sensual exhibition.

“Want a taste?” He heard He Tian say after a while, and no sooner than he said this that Mo Guan Shan found himself on his knees, with He Tian gripping his head and pulling him down, He Tian’s length nearly touching his lips. The move was so sudden that Mo Guan Shan clutched at He Tian’s thighs for support, which didn’t help at all in getting his own arousal under control. “Fuck, He Tian.”

“We’re getting there,” He Tian replied. “Now open up.” He pressed his hard-on to Mo’s lips. When Mo Guan Shan opened his mouth to protest, He Tian shoved himself in, and Mo moaned almost immediately, the suddenness of having his mouth filled overwhelming him, causing He Tian to groan loudly. The hand at his scalp gripped tighter and He Tian guided his head forward, burrowing himself deeper into Mo’s mouth and rocking his hips forward into him sensuously, his muscles flexing with the motion, causing both men to nearly lose it right there.

He Tian was stirred awake to the sounds of Mo’s labored breathing. He pushed himself onto his elbow and craned his head forward to look at Mo’s sleeping face. He could see Mo’s eyebrows were furrowed and the sweat beginning to gather at his temples. At first, he was about to stir him awake thinking Mo was having a nightmare, but then he heard Mo say his name. He Tian thought he misheard it at first, but then heard his name a second time, and this time Mo Guan Shan moaned.

He Tian settled back into the bed and found that he could no longer go back to sleep. He didn’t want to attack Mo Guan Shan in this vulnerable state but damn it, this was practically an invitation. He Tian was also irrationally jealous at his dream self for having all the fun, and then decided he deserved to at least get a little taste of this. With this thought, He Tian wrapped both arms around the sleeping Mo and brought his leg up between Mo’s, pressing at his crotch. Mo Guan Shan gasped, and He Tian couldn’t tell if it was in response to his actions or in response to the dream. He rubbed his knee against Mo for good measure, and he felt Mo squirm in his arms. “Ngh.” That was confirmation enough, and He Tian began to rhythmically push into Mo, applying pressure and then backing off, to which Mo responded by clutching at his arms tightly and making to pull away. He Tian wasn’t having that. He kept Mo in an embrace from behind with strong arms that acted like cages, and he brought his lips to Mo’s neck, brushing his lips to the skin ever so gently. He closed his eyes and breathed Mo in, and he lightly pinched one of Mo Guan Shan’s nipples, rolling it in his finger, and Mo’s head went back, sighing at the mixture of pain and pleasure. “Ah.” He Tian was already hard, and he rocked his body into Mo’s, his bulge straining in his boxers and wanting to make purchase into Mo’s ass. His own breath came out haggardly.

Mo couldn’t take He Tian in any more, and by the He Tian finished thrusting into his sore mouth, Mo was a tattered mess. Mo could see that He Tian was enjoying this, and now he was bringing his finger to Mo’s lips. Mo complied easily and began to suck all the way to the knuckle. At this point, he was too far gone to keep his desires in check. Mo looked up at He Tian as he did this with his glowing red eyes, daring him to follow through in their mutual lust. He Tian’s lips were parted as he stared down, his eyes mesmerizing pools of black, raking over Mo’s figure hungrily. When he removed his finger from Mo’s lips, Mo found himself suddenly being picked up by the underarms and being pushed against the wall.

“Mine,” Mo heard him say, and then he was being kissed fervently, with He Tian’s hands cupping his face, deepening the act, their tongues fighting for dominance. Mo’s hand was gripping He Tian’s hair, pulling him in, but then He Tian broke the kiss abruptly and spun him around, pushing him against the wall and holding their bodies flush against each other. Mo cursed as he felt He Tian press his dick to his ass, and then began to grind himself heatedly into Mo. They both moaned.

He Tian continued to play with Mo’s nipples, watching him squirm in his grasp, and by now he no longer cared if he were to wake up. In fact, he’d prefer it, because he wanted to ravish Mo and fill him up over and over, taking him roughly in bed the way he knew Mo liked it. He could barely contain himself in his lust. He slid down his boxers, sighing as the pressure eased up on his dick, and pressed himself against Mo while his hands roamed to Mo’s thighs, parting them. He kissed him along his collarbone and brought his lips to Mo’s ear. “I want to fuck you,” he whispered.

“I want to fuck you,” He Tian echoed in his dream. He Tian gripped his hips tightly, and rubbed himself against him a few more times before stopping to bring his slick fingers into Mo, who cried out at the intrusion. “He Tian,” Mo hissed in warning.

“You’ll start to like it soon, Little Mo,” He Tian murmured, resting his head on Mo’s shoulder as he started with one finger to give Mo time to adjust to the feeling, and then adding another once he felt Mo was ready, shoving his fingers in deep at that moment, causing Mo to cry out, “You fucker.” He Tian smiled into his neck, but kept pushing until he hit the bundle of nerves that caused Mo to respond the way he wanted to: in desperation. “Ah!” Mo’s body trembled and he turned back to look at He Tian, his face flushed, telling him in an unsteady voice, “You c-can stop now. I’m good.”

“We’re not done yet.” Mo saw He Tian lick his lips before he started to assail that spot over and over again, with Mo crying out loudly, clawing at He Tian’s arm holding his waist in place, which was forcing his hips to meet He Tian’s thrusts. “He Tian—“ His voice cut off at feeling He Tian bite into his neck. Mo Guan Shan opened his eyes.

“Did I wake you?” He Tian asked, licking at the bite mark he left on Mo, watching as Mo slowly gained awareness of his surroundings. He couldn’t help but add, “How was it? Am I as good in your dreams as I am in real li—“

He Tian didn’t get to finish that thought before he found himself on his back, with Mo Guan Shan having turned around quickly and pouncing on him, locking both arms on either side of He Tian’s head and straddling him. He ground down on He Tian tantalizingly slowly, who cursed under his breath at the purposefully weak friction and buckled his hips upward in an effort to deepen their contact. Mo Guan Shan brought his face inches away from He Tian and challenged: “Better.”

If that was meant to provoke him, it worked. He Tian knocked Mo’s hands away and pushed him back forcefully, lunging forward to pin Mo down in the exact same way he had been seconds earlier. Mo landed backward with a heavy thump and grunted. “I’m going to make you regret saying that,” He Tian growled before crushing their lips together in a hungry kiss. The kiss was volatile and hot, with He Tian beckoning Mo to open his mouth and immediately slipping his tongue inside, being rewarded with Mo’s guttural moan. The sounds of their deep kissing filled the room, and both men reached towards each other fervently, hands roaming freely with no parts of the body being left untouched; stroking of the chests, fondling of the most pleasurable parts, intertwining fingers, until He Tian was begging for purchase, to be let inside.

Their sex was amorous, both passionate in their intense love for one another and unhinged in the vigorousness of their nature. Mo cried out as soon as He Tian filled him deeply, and He Tian got off on having Mo underneath him, seeing the fair-skinned man show expressions that no one else would ever get to see. Each was trying to hold out to force the other to release first. He Tian would lick and suck at Mo’s chest and neck, while Mo Guan Shan would bite and claw at He Tian, who enjoyed the rough treatment from his lover.

They were both drenched in sweat from the exertion, with He Tian thrusting into Mo roughly and passionately while gripping his length at the same time, running his thumb over the wet slit, overstimulating Mo, who now had his head thrown back and his fingers clutching the sheets. “Ah! He Tian, I’m going to—“

“I know.” He Tian felt as Mo Guan Shan clenched around him, intent on watching Mo’s face as he came, admiring how Mo exposed himself even more to him as he arched his back and his body trembled. He Tian’s name fell from his lips like thick honey and his stomach now gleamed with the residue of his cum. It didn’t take long for He Tian to follow soon-after, as the sight of Mo Guan Shan losing it before his eyes was enough to take him over the brink, and he doubled over, filling Mo up with his essence and grunting as he came, pulling Mo closer to him as he did so, wanting to fill him up completely and to wreck him entirely. He wanted Mo to remember his body, the way that he could both pleasure and punish him with it in equal measure. By the end of it, they were both exhausted. He Tian collapsed on top of Mo heavily, who cursed at the sudden weight that crashed onto him. “I win,” He Tian whispered breathlessly, pressing his lips to Mo’s neck, before falling asleep almost immediately after, completely satiated.

Mo Guan Shan blushed and tried to push himself out from under He Tian, but found he wouldn’t budge. “He’s so fucking heavy,” Mo muttered, but he was not as annoyed as he thought he should be even. In fact, the feeling was rather comforting, and the warmth of He Tian’s body over his own felt good, calming him. Mo eventually began to feel tired, his eyes growing heavy, and he didn’t realize when he had succumbed to the lull of his dreams once more until he heard a familiar voice in his ear, welcoming him back.

TianShan, At the Gym

Where He Tian works at a local gym, and wants to be a special someone’s personal trainer. The characters are older than in the original story by Old Xian.

———————————————

He Tian worked at the local gym located not five minutes away from his apartment complex. He worked part-time as a personal fitness instructor in an effort to keep himself from growing bored; he knew full well he didn’t have to work a day in his life.

At the gym he had his regulars, the ones that requested to get their six-packs asap, to bulk up their body weight with most of the weight being muscle, but very few of them could keep up with the rigorous work-outs set up by him. That wasn’t his problem. “If you’re asking to get that type of body in a short period of time, you’re going to have to work for it,” he would state matter-of-factly. He was right, of course, but the members didn’t want to be told this, and many would refuse to come back altogether, feeling slighted by his blatant disregard for their inability to match his discipline.

That particular evening was not very crowded at all. It wasn’t a weekend, for one thing, and the weather was rather nasty: a frigid -10 degrees Celsius. So there he was, checking to make sure the machines were wiped down, that the dumbbells weren’t scattered in disarray, and that the few people that were there, five in total, were using the machines properly.

“Your shift is just about over, isn’t it? You can leave the rest to me.” He Tian turned around to see Zhan Zheng Xi speaking to him. Zhan Zheng Xi also worked there, and unlike He Tian, he was much more lenient when it came to creating workout routines. For that reason, he had a lot more clients. Zhan Zheng Xi ran his hand through his dark blond hair, and sighed.

“What’s eating you?” He Tian asked. It was rare to see Xi looking so nervous, the guy was always so level-headed.

“It’s nothing. Just a friend is stopping by. Says I’ve been too busy for him lately. He’s upset.” Zhan Zheng Xi stared at the door as he said this, watching for this person to come to him.

He Tian rolled his eyes. “Ah yes, you’re “friend.” You mean Jian Yi, don’t you? But wasn’t he here yesterday, and the day before?” He Tian was now leaning his body against the counter, and searched the streets for said person. This was another reason he chose to work here: He Tian got along well with both of them, and considered them his friends, of which he had few to speak of. Sure, he was surrounded by a plethora of fangirls at school, and even some guys who wanted to be seen with him, but these two were genuine, and that was not easy to come by.

“Yeah, but I’m working, so it’s hard to talk to him. Today though, he doesn’t expect many people to show.” Zhan Zheng Xi’s eyes perked up as he saw the familiar fair figure approaching the gym, bundled up in a gray parka with the hoodie lined in a faux fur trim over his head, speed walking to escape the cold. But he wasn’t alone. He seemed to be dragging someone along with him, who looked to be underdressed for the cold weather in his flimsy, mustard-colored jacket. The man wore a black-knit cap and had a permanent scowl on his face. His face was as red as a tomato.

“Who is that?” He Tian asked excitedly, leaning forward with his forearms now resting on the counter and craning his head as he tried to get a better view.

“Jian Yi texted me earlier, saying he made a new friend today.” As he told He Tian this, he began to walk towards the door to open it for them. “He’s being way too friendly,” Zhan Zheng Xi muttered under his breath.

“Zhan Zheng Xi~~ It’s so cold, I thought I was going to die!!!” Jian Yi nearly tackled the poor Xi, who stumbled a few steps back as he caught Yi in his embrace. Jian Yi didn’t consider the fact that Zhan Zheng Xi was only wearing a t-shirt at this point, so Zhan Zheng Xi was immediately chilled to the touch. Some people in the gym snickered at this interaction, but otherwise resumed their workout.

“That’s why I didn’t want you to come today,” Zhan Zheng Xi replied. When he saw Jian Yi’s hurt expression however, he quickly added, “You could have gotten sick.”

That did the trick. “Aww, you care so much about me!” Jian Yi hugged him again, and then remembered his new friend. “Oh yeah! Zhan Zheng Xi, meet Mo Guan Shan. He saved me today! I forgot my wallet at home today and I couldn’t pay for a snack at that old lady’s shop, you know, the one by the college? He works there and let me take it and he told me I can pay it back next time!”

“It’s not a big deal,” the young man replied. “I’m leaving. I don’t know why I let myself be dragged along by you. It’s too fucking cold. I’m not in the mood to work out.” As he said this, he made as if to leave, but He Tian’s voice rung clear behind him.

“Are you afraid to build up a sweat? You’re here now, so you might as well make the most of it, don’t you think?” He Tian came forward and stopped in front of Mo Guan Shan, leaning in close to him, who blushed and took a step back. “Too fucking close,” Mo muttered. His red hair, his glowing gaze, his cute frowning face, He Tian liked everything about him already.

“But He Tian, you’re shift is almost fin— ugh!” Before he could finish this statement, Zhan Zheng Xi was elbowed by He Tian in the stomach, who continued to smile down at Mo Guan Shan with his best customer-service smile. Jian Yi caught on more quickly, and led Zhan Zheng Xi away to leave the pair alone. “Zhan Zheng Xi, why don’t you train me for once?” He whined as he linked their arms together and walked them towards the farthest set of machines possible, leaving the pair alone.

“So, where were we?” He Tian started.

“I was in the middle of leaving,” Mo Guan Shan replied coolly, placing his hands inside his jacket and getting ready to brave the cold.

“Until I convinced you to stay,” came He Tian’s response. Mo turned to look at him with a scowl, and before he could reply, He Tian was raising his hands above his head in a mock gesture of surrender to Mo’s bad temper. “Come on, you won’t regret it. I’ll even give you a training session for free. And I don’t think you really want to head out that badly, do you?”

He Tian could feel Mo’s hesitation, saw the small breath of uncertainty that caught at his throat, the deep frown that settled as he contemplated his words, and took advantage of Mo’s indecision. “Here, let me take you to the locker room so you can put your coat away.” He Tian walked ahead without looking behind him but smiled to himself as he could feel the young man trailing behind. Once they were in front of the lockers, He Tian allowed Mo Guan Shan to pick one of many red lockers lining the wall and watched as Mo selected the farthest one, took off his cap and shrugged out of his jacket, revealing the sleeveless white undershirt that fit tightly to his attractive, muscled frame. The material was almost translucent and when Mo turned to look at him, He Tian could see Mo’s perked nipples underneath. It took everything he had to keep his eyes above Mo’s chest, meeting the quizzical ones that gazed up at him. “Shouldn’t we get going?”

He Tian nodded. “Here,” He Tian gave him a small key that would be used to open the locker when they were finished. Mo Guan Shan reached out, his fingers still cold as He Tian felt his touch, and pocketed it in his grey sweatpants. He Tian thought how lucky it was that Mo Guan Shan had worn sweatpants and sneakers on this day, appropriate for the occasion. “Follow me,” he said as he led him back to the workout hall.

He Tian scanned the room and saw even less people than before; only two others were left aside from Zhan Zheng Xi and Jian Yi. It seemed that Jian Yi was struggling with the weight on the bench press, but Xi was taking good care of him and was over him and ready to grab the weight if it came to be too much for him. He Tian smirked, and directed Mo Guan Shan towards the treadmills. Mo Guan Shan immediately protested.

“I want to lift some weights,” he said.

“We’ll get there, but we need to warm you up first,” He Tian replied. “Let’s start you off with a five-minute cardio session to get your blood pumping, and then move on to some light stretching.” He Tian smiled at him. “I know it sounds tedious, but trust me. Your body will thank me for it later.” Mo Guan Shan couldn’t help but think there was an ulterior meaning behind his words, but followed along as He Tian pushed the level up on the treadmill he was led to until Mo was at a light jog. He Tian looked on appreciatively and thought to himself that Mo had good form. Usually he would have to correct his clients on their posture but Mo was firm, and his jog was lithe and smooth, keeping his breathing even while trying to avoid He Tian’s stare.

After the five minutes had elapsed, Mo got off the treadmill and was sweating mildly, his cheeks a nice, healthy flush of pink. He Tian thought how nice his complexion looked, and how he would love to see more of it in a more intimate setting with just the two of them. In his bed, most preferably, with his flushing face being caused by something He Tian did to him. He Tian could already imagine running his fingers down Mo Guan Shan’s bare chest and eliciting a sharp cry once his hand cupped his sex. His thoughts were getting to be too dangerous, and he had to snap out of it to face the man before him.

“I’m ready now,” Mo Guan Shan said.

“Almost,” He Tian replied. He Tian walked up to Mo and got behind him, placing his hands on Mo’s shoulders, who bristled at the contact. He Tian clicked his tongue. “Your muscles are quite tense here. I need you to keep your back straight and have you lift your shoulders and then roll them forwards, and then backwards. Do this until you feel the tension ease up a bit.” Albeit reluctantly, Mo complied, and while he didn’t want to admit it, these motions did seem to help loosen up his body. He Tian looked on approvingly. “Good, that will do for now. Next, let’s follow it up with a trapezius stretch.” He Tian lightly took a hold of Mo’s arm and brought it behind his back. “With your other hand, grab the arm I have behind your back and pull gently. Hold this position for about 15 seconds and,” He Tian let go of Mo’s arm and gently rested his hand on Mo’s hair, tilting his head to the side, “tilt your ear towards the direction your arm is being pulled. You will repeat this motion again with your other arm once you are finished.” Mo felt strange being handled by He Tian, but now his neck muscles were loosening up along with his shoulders and he couldn’t complain. A sigh escaped his lips.

“Does it feel that good?” He Tian whispered into his ear, and Mo Guan Shan blushed.

“You jerk, don’t stand so close!” Mo’s ears were red, and He Tian thought how fun it was to tease him.

“Did I startle you, Little Mo?” The nickname came easily to He Tian’s lips, and he liked the sound of it. “After you’ve completed some cross-body arm stretches and quad stretches, we can then start with the workout.”

Once he was finished with those stretches, He Tian led Mo Guan Shan to the area with the weights and machines, and saw Mo’s eyes light up. “How cute,” He Tian thought. On the way, He Tian picked up his water bottle from the counter in the center of the gym, and Mo, seeing this, said, “I’m thirsty. Are there any more water bottles?”

He Tian smiled internally with the little devil horns appearing on his head, and he said, “You can have mine.”

“I don’t want yours. You’ve already pressed your lips to it,” Mo responded, annoyed.

“Do you see it as an indirect kiss?” He Tian mused. “Aren’t we a little too old for that? Have a taste, Little Mo. It’s nice and cold.” As he said this, He Tian removed the cap and took a slow sip from the water, watching him as he did so. Then he offered it to Mo. In reality, he was not expecting Mo to take it; he was playing around and He Tian knew that they did have a fridge full of water bottles, which he was eventually going to offer to Mo. So he was surprised to have Mo tentatively bring his hand up and take the bottle from He Tian, who almost let it slip from his own fingers, and stared wide-eyed as Mo Guan Shan brought the bottle to his lips and began to drink from it. He Tian stared at Mo as he finished drinking, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down, his lips now wet and, He Tian thought, enticing. He licked his lips.

“Where do we start?” Mo asked.

“Let’s begin with some push-ups to get you started off strong. I want you to place your feet on this small bench to get them in an elevated position. Now get yourself down in a plank position, keeping your head and back straight as you come down for each push-up. You will do three sets of 20 push-ups. Also,” He Tian came over with a weight and placed it on Mo’s back, “this will add some spice to your workout.”

Mo Guan Shan felt the weight at his back and adjusted his position. “This guy’s not playing around,” he thought. Mo completed the first set smoothly, gave himself a forty-five second pause before beginning the second set when he started to feel the burn in his arms and core. The third set took more of a push, but reaching the end of it, He Tian was satisfied.

“Wow, you’re so strong~” He took the weight off of Mo’s back and rustled his hair playfully. Mo knocked his hand out of the way and asked, “What’s next?”

“After a push comes the pull. You’re doing pull-ups next.” He Tian directed Mo towards the pull-up bar. “You’ll do fifteen sets of five.” Mo began to reach up to the handles when he felt He Tian wrap his arms around his waist. “What the hell are you doing?!” Mo blushed and squirmed against his hold but He Tian didn’t budge.

“We’re adding a weight lifting belt. Don’t think I’ll go easy on you.” He Tian leaned his chin against the crook of Mo’s neck, pressing his chest against Mo’s back as he wrapped the belt around his waist, tightening the straps. “Ugh,” escaped Mo’s lips.

“Is that too tight for you, Little Mo?” He Tian loosened it slightly. “Sorry, your waist is small compared to my usual clients. How about this, is that better?” He Tian’s hands lingered at Mo’s waist, his breath tickling Mo’s ear.

“Better.” Mo didn’t like the warm feeling rising in his chest, so he stepped away from He Tian abruptly and reached out to the handles once more.

“Keep your legs straight, we’re going for the tactical style pull-up. Your lower back will appreciate it,” He Tian said as he watched Mo’s form. Mo complied, and felt his core was feeling it more in this position than the usual way of doing it. His arms were burning, but having eyes on him pushed him to complete the sets. He Tian admired the way Mo’s muscles moved nimbly, the way his shirt clung to his taut body, the way his fiery gaze pierced ahead of him in intense concentration as he focused on completing the sets. He Tian could only think how he wanted to tame him and make Mo Guan Shan’s body surrender to his own. He wondered if Mo could see the effect he was having on him.

“I’m done,” Mo Guan Shan said. He let go of the handle and tried to remove the belt from his waist but his fingers were fumbling on the straps.

“Let me.” He Tian bent his head down, their foreheads nearly touching, and his fingers undid the straps with ease. Mo Guan Shan didn’t meet his gaze. “What now?” Mo asked.

“The bench press. I told you, I won’t go easy on you.” He Tian brought him toward the bench and wiped it down. He Tian then brought a bench press weight of 215 pounds and set it on the rack. “You can lie down now, Little Mo.” Mo Guan Shan did so, firmly planting his feet on the ground. Mo tried to ignore the fact that He Tian’s crotch was level with his face, and prepared himself to grab the weight. “Widen your grip a little more, Little Mo.” He Tian’s fingers came over Mo’s and brought his hands the right width apart. “Good. As you remove the weight from the bar, keep your arms straight and then lower it down to your mid-chest. We’re aiming for four sets of eight reps. I’ll be here if it gets to be too much.” As Mo brought the weight down, He Tian stayed by him and watched as he worked on each set. At times he would bring his hands over Mo’s to grip the weight as he felt Mo was losing his grip or the weight was remaining too long near his chest. “Don’t push yourself,” He Tian said.

Once he was finished, He Tian helped Mo get the weight back on the rack and watched as Mo Guan Shan laid on the bench, breathing heavily, sweat tricking down his forehead. He Tian stepped away and came back with a clean towel, crouching down next to Mo and wordlessly pressing the towel to his forehead, gently pressing at the skin. Mo Guan Shan looked up at him, his lips parted and his eyes hooded. He was too tired to protest. Mo was about to sit up but He Tian gently pushed him down. “Don’t rush. Rest a couple of more minutes and then drink some water. We’re almost done.”

“Hey, He Tian.” He Tian turned to look up at Zheng Xi, who was bundled up with his coat and with Jian Yi at his side, their arms linked together. “It’s almost closing time.”

He Tian surveyed the gym hall and found the four of them were the only ones left. “I’ll take care of it. Leave me the keys and I’ll close down properly when I leave.” Zheng Xi nodded and flung him the keys, which He Tian caught easily.

“We’re leaving then,” Xi said, giving a short nod to both of them.

“I knew you’d like it, Shan! Did you have a good time?” Jian Yi chimed in, but was being dragged away by Xi before he could get a reply. “See you two next time!” He yelled out from the door. Now they were alone.

Mo Guan Shan broke the silence first. He came to a sitting position and He Tian looked at him. “I should leave now,” he said. Mo looked outside and saw that it was getting dark.

“Hn. I still had more things I wanted to do with you...” He Tian ran his hand through his hair and sighed. “Will you come back to me?” He Tian needed him to say yes.

“I don’t know,” Mo Guan Shan responded honestly. The workout did him good, but he was scared about developing any attachments to He Tian. The thought of that scared him more than he wanted to admit.

“Come back to me,” He Tian stated firmly. He rested his hand over Mo’s, and his coal eyes probed searchingly into red ones. “Only to me.”

“I—“ Mo started.

“Please,” He Tian breathed.

Mo Guan Shan looked down at their hands, at the green veins that lined He Tian’s, his hands bigger than his own, and saw him tightening his grip. “Why am I not pulling away?” Mo thought. “Why am I still here?”

As if a distant person were speaking, Mo heard himself say, “Okay.” And then he felt a pull at his hand, and then he was being embraced, feeling something warm on his lips, on his cheek, on his neck. It took him a minute to realize he was being kissed, and he was about to say something, putting his hand at He Tian’s chest to push him away, but his lips were captured by He Tian’s, warm and moist and tasting of peppermint, and he brought his hand to Mo’s neck and kept him there, pulling him in, feeling as the struggle became less pronounced, a moan beginning to build up behind Mo’s parted lips. They were both breathing hard when they came apart, and Mo’s cheeks were flushed, his mouth slick, with He Tian wanting to fuck him right here, damn it if he cared what people saw, that he was still at work, that people could see them from the glass windows. He wanted to push Mo Guan Shan back down on the bench press and trap him under his weight, to grind down on him and watch Mo squirm underneath him, but it was too soon. He Tian knew Mo Guan Shan wasn’t ready to accept him yet, but he would wait for him until he was.

“Fuck, what was that for?” Mo finally managed to say, his face still very much red.

“It was my thank you. I couldn’t control myself,” He Tian said, smiling his wicked, playful smile. “Now go grab your coat. I’ll wait for you outside.”

“You don’t have to wait, I know my way out,” Mo replied stubbornly as he made his way to the locker room.

“I have no choice. I have to lock up, remember?” He Tian called out to Mo, who showed him the middle finger. He Tian chuckled.

“Anyway,” He Tian thought to himself. “I have to wait for you. Because tonight,” he smiled, “you’re coming over to my place.”

I miss reading TianShan fanfics…. somebody please recomend me something!!  (if it’s finished will be better… ahaha)

This may be unhelpful as it’s not pointing out any specific TianShan story, but here is a short list of writers you may be familiar with already or who are new to you and you may come to like:

Writers on Tumblr:

On AO3 (Archive of Our Own) (Please Note: Some of the aforementioned writers on Tumblr are also on AO3):

traceytries

Miharo

Ladyoftheloch

Powerandpathos

This is a very short list , and there are many other incredible writers others may attest to. However, I hope you are able to come across a new story that will satisfy your taste. Happy reading~

And also, thank you for your wonderful artwork @bisho-s.

@littlemomountain thanks for putting me on the list, darling 😻🙈💜🙌 Btw, you’re an amazing writer too, big sis!!!

@bisho-s You can make all the requests that you want, darling 😘🙌💜 Another thing: I love all your amazing artworks, really!!! 😻😻😻😻💜💜💜💜

<3 thank you!!!!

Adding to the above because I believe it is important to support our writers in getting recognized. It enables readers to discover new authors and for authors to get a larger reader base, even if the increase is marginal:

Powerandpathos is @agapaic f/k/a @thefearofthetruth

As to everyone included on the list, you are all deserving of being known and for artists to attain creative inspiration from the works you have written. I only hope that more writers can get discovered in similar fashion.

Lately i don’t feel like putting much effort into stuff. Might just be my laziness/sadness but i still can’t do it. I feel lonely to be honest. And i don’t know when this feeling will stop. Fuck i hate all of this. I just want a break from my damn thoughts. Hate it how just writing this kind of text makes me feel guilty. And i want to stop this drawing addiction. Something needs to happen. This is one of those times were death seems sweeter than live but i don’t feel suicidical. In fact i hate people who kill themselves. I just want to be happy again. I want to enjoy live as much as i can.

Reblogging because this is dear to me, and because if anyone else reads this, I hope that even in the smallest way, something can come from it. This is my dedication to @msop222

It’s very important for you to be able to express your feelings and to not keep them bottled in. There is absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. I am very glad you posted this, and I hope that in writing this you can come to see that your thoughts, your feelings, your pain, these are all products of the circumstances you are living through, and for now you don’t see any definite ending (for two years now and going, and it’s disheartening to not see an end). You will get through this. Something will happen in your life, whether it be a change of scenery/work/school/home life/relationships(familial and personal)/economic circumstances, etc. that will change your life. These things happen when you least expect them, and reaching out to the right people can help you through these thoughts, because it’s not that you should be forced to change these feelings, but to find that you are powerful enough to overcome them and to live your life as you said you want to live it: happily. Happiness is relative, and everyone has to fight through their own struggles, but finding happiness in the little things is a start: Enjoying your favorite show, expressing yourself through art, hanging out with friends or alternatively taking yourself out and pampering yourself, watching encouraging videos, if religious, getting closer to that aspect of life, if not, considering the things that you think matter to you and following through with pursuing those things. Goodness, where you write “death seems sweeter” is so relatable, you don’t know how many times I’ve thought that, because really life can seem like more trouble than it’s worth, let’s be honest. But even so, there is good reason to find the fulfilling things in the small things. Even something as small as showering love to a pet, obsessing over a fandom (here, here~), and genuinely finding the love towards yourself that you deserve to give, I think these are the things that will get you a step closer to happiness. The state of happiness is not one set thing, and you will forever have ups and downs because the dynamics of life are one in which there is always change, but I know you will find the strength to believe in yourself, and to find some sweetness in the things you find matter to you. I hope this means something. You are more precious than you give yourself credit for.

TianShan, The Iconic Scene

Summary: This is one of the most beautifully drawn scenes by Old Xian of He Tian and Mo Guan Shan, and with beautiful work comes great inspiration. Thank you for reading.

—————————————

They were both wet, but He Tian didn’t mind at all. In fact, he was thoroughly enjoying himself as he hoisted Mo Guan Shan out of the water by the underarms. The extra weight of the backpack Mo was able to retrieve from the pond did little to affect his strength, and He Tian couldn’t help but smile at how light Mo felt in his hands. It was like handling a fragile object: He Tian didn’t want to break him.

Mo gripped He Tian’s shoulder almost instinctively, keeping himself upright whilst holding the bag he had thrown over the park’s bridge in his other hand. Why did that bastard have so many pictures of him? Mo gazed down at He Tian, who he found had a look of complete satisfaction on his face. That annoyed him, but it also surprised him to see how easily He Tian was able to hold him at such a high angle. How much did this man bench press, exactly?

“Let me go,” Mo Guan Shan said tersely after being held by He Tian for what seemed like a prolonged period of time. He Tian had been admiring the way the wet clothes clung to Mo’s body, and enjoyed the glimpse of Mo’s partially exposed abs revealed by the uplifted shirt. He Tian wanted to run his tongue along the V-line, to plant kisses along each ripple of muscle, and to get further down Mo’s body until he was close enough to suck his d—

“He Tian!” Mo Guan Shan’s outburst brought him out of his revery.

“Yes?” He Tian looked up, the tips of their noses nearly touching, his eyes shining brightly up at Mo’s.

Mo Guan Shan didn’t realize how close their faces were until He Tian was staring up at him, and he blushed. “I said put me down already, you idiot.”

At this, He Tian chuckled. “Don’t you mean the opposite?” Mo’s eyes narrowed, and he gave He Tian a death glare. He Tian relented. “Fine. Here then, let me get us out.” He Tian suddenly brought Mo into an embrace. “Wrap your arms around me, Little Mo, or else you’ll fall back into the water.”

“What are you—“ Mo’s breath hitched as he brought both arms around He Tian’s neck (with a bit of discomfort considering the bag), doing so after He Tian removed his hold from his underarms and instead snaked one arm around Mo’s back, pulling their bodies together, while he gripped the underside of Mo’s thigh with the other. Mo turned two shades redder. “Fuck, stop it. People will think we are crazy.”

“Aren’t we, though?” He Tian whispered into his ear. Mo sputtered profanities as a chill ran down his spine. “Little Mo, if you wrap your legs around my waist, I can carry your bag out, too. My hands are full now.”

“Fuck no,” he replied quickly.

“It will be quick, Little Mo. Just trust me, it will only be for a second, He Tian insisted.

“No,” Mo said stubbornly.

“Little Mo,” He Tian’s voice dropped. “If you don’t listen, I’ll kiss you right here, and everyone will see it.”

“I hate you,” Mo Guan Shan said, but nonetheless he complied and wrapped his legs around He Tian, who now used his free hand to collect Mo’s mustard-colored bag from the water. He Tian walked them out of the pond, with Mo clinging to He Tian and effectively drenching them both. As soon as they were out of the water, Mo unwrapped himself from He Tian, and He Tian released his hold on Mo rather reluctantly, but not without having Mo’s body slide down on his own agonizingly slowly, as he kept his firm grip on Mo until the last possible moment. They both felt friction down there as their slick bodies rubbed against one another, and He Tian groaned into Mo’s neck. Mo didn’t understand his feelings well but that fucking turned him on. He had to inhale sharply in response and placed a hand at He Tian’s chest, pushing him away.

“Little Mo,” He Tian was smiling at him with his crooked smile. “We’re both so wet, and your apartment is far from here. Come over to my place tonight.” His voice was sultry, sensual in his hidden implications wrought with sex.

“Like hell I’ll come with you,” Mo said, the implication going over his head entirely, but in reality he was not enjoying the thought of traveling home like this.

“Are you that afraid of me?” He Tian visibly disheartened, and Mo felt a pang at his chest. He was about to respond, but then he heard a familiar voice calling out to them.

“Hey~ He Tian, Mo Guan Shan, is that you?” Jian Yi shouted out to them, still unsure if the people he saw in the pond were two lovebirds or his two bickering friends.

“Shit, this is too awkward! He Tian, we have to go!” Mo gripped He Tian’s arm and pulled him along as he tried getting them away from Jian Yi.

“Where are we going, Little Mo?” He Tian was amused at Mo’s efforts to escape Jian Yi, and his mood was lifted. Mo was just too cute.

“Your place,” Mo Guan Shan replied quickly. They were at an all-out run now, which was uncomfortable in wet clothes, as Jian Yi was chasing after them yelling, “WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?!”

“My place it is,” He Tian responded, internally grateful for Jian Yi’s unknowing role as a wingman, and allowed himself to be pulled by Mo, wishing that hand would never let him go.
