where do you get inspiration for town names?

I like to think of themes before I come up with names. Since I’m able to hack, I just change the names according to theme of the town. I generally come up with them on my own though. I guess I inspire myself 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

villagers houses will be smaller then the players

the white areas are the sea, river, lakes or pavement

the gray ones are houses, cafe, re-tail, police station, town hall and public works projects

this is how your dirt paths will look like :

to make them more narrow just hold left click and erase the parts you dont want

you’ll get the hang of it after a while

working with this thing is pretty much trial and error, it ain’t perfect but for now its the easiest way to get simple and clean dirt paths ヽ(_ _ヽ)彡

I have that issue too! I haven’t played in quite a while but planning out what items I was going to use was always a struggle 😩 I tend to use the same items over and over again because I know what I like and what I think looks good lol.

I like to get my paths laid out and then make areas using pwps first. Then when that is done, trees and bushes go next and then flowers/clovers/items/weeds, etc. I always save the landscaping for last and I only work on one area at a time. I don’t usually plan out anything, just start placing and see what I like and dislike 😊💗

That is so sweet, thank you so much! 💗 it really depends on the town I’m working on. Some towns only took a week or 2, while some took about a month or more. I try to plan themes ahead of making a town so I know kind of what I want to do in terms of colors, landscaping, paths, etc. I also visit a ton of dream towns for inspiration since I sometimes lose motivation to work on my towns 😊💖
