i don’t want to delete my blogs because i love writing and i love these characters but being on tumblr and honestly using a computer at all at this point causes me an inappropriate amount of anxiety. idk what to do. it makes me feel like a bad rp partner even when i have so many plots and ideas running around in my head.

General calculations suggest that my universe existed before this one.” He could hardly contain his satisfaction at the comparison between himself and his…counterpart. “There isn’t much reason to explain, implying that you would be able to understand it at all, but I am Baron Helmut Zemo, 13th Baron of Leipzig.”

"Oh." Andreas got up, went to Helmut, and hugged him. Instead of trying to think of a lot of words.
“I’m not selling myself short, Helmut,” he replied, smiling. He couldn’t deny that he had missed Helmut. “Then you should try and treat us equally. Even if Andrea is a….little bit difficult. And it’s been over two years since she tried to kill you. Could you do me a favor and talk with her?”
Helmut tried not to roll his eyes. “Frankly speaking, you aren’t in much position to ask for favors. However, since you asked so politely,” Helmut reached up to playfully tweak the tip of Andreas’ nose, “I will try and be civil. Family is the most important thing, or whatever the saying is.”
“Keep talking, and I’ll seriously slap the shit out of you.”
“By all means, Barnes. Put me out of misery. Then you can explain to your masters how you much of a colossal fuck-up you are for not bringing me in conscious as was ordered. Then again, they’re probably already well aware of your incompetence.” His lips curled in an impish grin, but his eyes stayed cold and glassy, hiding a burning hatred that nearly made him sick to his stomach with its intensity. “But be warned, boy. I’m notorious for my rather delicate jaw, and this I paid good money for this face.”
“You broke my nose!”
There’s a look to the side, pause, then look back, “I’m sure you didn’t need those bones?”
Helmut sputtered out a growl as blood gushed over his lips and chin. “Gah,” he whined, reflexively covering the shattered cartilage, “you insufferable...” His free hand reached for a weapon, fumbling around with the hilt of Joyeuse due to his newly-slicked fingers.

This is a list of the various weapons, gadgets, tools, and other paraphernalia that Helmut uses on a regular-to-semi-regular basis in combat. I will add to this list as I develop new ideas.
Joyeuse:
This is Helmut’s primary weapon. Named for the legendary sword wielded by Charlemagne, Joyeuse normally takes the form of a rapier with a blade length of 97cm and a hilt adorned with the House of Zemo crest. However, this weapon has an unstable structure and is able to alter its length, width, and density at the behest of the wielder. Helmut most often converts it into a short sword for closer combat encounters, a pike, and an extended whip. When tapping into the residual power of the Moonstone left within him, Helmut can superheat the blade, causing it to glow and increasing its cutting power.
Iscariot:
This crimson weapon is a repurposed and personally-customized version of the Satan’s Claw, a weapon once used by Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker before his death and Helmut’s hand. This clawed gauntlet is able to deliver powerful electrical shocks to anything it touches, as well as delivering a potent toxin into anyone unfortunate enough to be scratched by it. While it is more lightweight and compact than its original form, Iscariot is still rather bulky and is unlikely to be utilized by Helmut outside of ideal circumstances as it limits his primary advantage in speed and agility.
Nero:
Nero is a modified Magnum Desert Eagle, customized by Helmut with poached Vibranium to be durable enough to withstand the explosive force of its unique ammunition. Helmut will rarely load Nero with bullets made from pure Adamantium, causing Nero to be capable of piercing most conventional armor and even denting the shield of Captain America. These bullets are difficult to make and are rarely employed by Helmut. Additionally, charging Nero with the light energy left behind by the Moonstone can allow Helmut to use Nero to fire off concentrate beams of laser light for both lethal and non-lethal damage.
The Whippet:
The Whippet is a small robot that often takes on the form of a lithe dog, but can alter its form depending on the terrain. Helmut most often the Whippet for reconnaissance due to its small stature and quiet movements.
Jet Boots:
While unnamed, Helmut’s jet boots are integral to Helmut’s success in the field. Their powerful combustion abilities allow Helmut to extend his jumping ability, hover, and even fly shorter distances before they begin to overheat. Helmut can also use them to release powerful bursts of superheated energy with a flex of his foot while kicking.

“Because we’re both dumb, young-ish, and tired of being trapped in that musty old castle doing fuck-all to better ourselves. Besides,” Helmut smirked over his glass of champagne, “Tokyo is gorgeous this time of year. Sakura trees are in bloom, shinshu sake flows like water, and not a damn person there knows who we are. So why don’t you enjoy the flight? Or at least be quiet and let me.”
“Personal business, huh?” She shook her head. Of course there was a catch to all of this. There was always a catch. She ignored the boasting, knowing that he’d never stop if she indulged him. “So, while you’re doing your business, what am I supposed to do?” She tilted her head a little and finished her own champagne. “Sit there and look pretty?”
“Well, you’re more than welcome to play tag-along, if that sour mood improves enough to not embarrass me in front of my friend.” Helmut gave her a playfully-challenging smirk. “Trust me, he’s no threat. Just playing catch-up is all.” A half-truth. “Or, if that doesn’t sound fun, I know that Tokyo International has the largest indoor koi pond in the world, and almost everyone in the Shibuya district speaks enough English to get by. You can definitely find a way to entertain yourself.”

“Because we’re both dumb, young-ish, and tired of being trapped in that musty old castle doing fuck-all to better ourselves. Besides,” Helmut smirked over his glass of champagne, “Tokyo is gorgeous this time of year. Sakura trees are in bloom, shinshu sake flows like water, and not a damn person there knows who we are. So why don’t you enjoy the flight? Or at least be quiet and let me.”
“You have a very valid point. Forgive me if my Japanese is a little rusty and I don’t know how I feel about you playing translator.” She smirked back at him and took a sip from her own glass. “The anonymity does sound fantastic though.” She sighed, getting comfortable in her seat and looking out the window as the jet broke through the cloud cover. “Well, if you insist, I suppose I can try.”
“Perfect.” Helmut tossed back the rest of his drink and wiped his mouth with the back of his arm. “By the way, the seats are heated, if you’re into that sort of thing. Based on our flight trajectory and speed, it should be just barely over four hours. Thank a bit of Zemo ingenuity for almost revolutionizing modern flight.” Though it was scarcely 4:00 in Leipzig, they would be touching down almost twice their travel time later in the evening due to time differentials. “It will give us plenty of time for me to finish my personal business when we arrive and spend the rest of the night running the streets.”

Andreas enjoyed the hug and pressed himself against Helmut. He had needed a hug as well.
“Yes.” He laughed. “But I rather leave the real talk to Andrea.”
“You ought to not sell yourself short, Andreas.” Helmut made no attempt to break the hug, instead sliding his hands down to rest at Andreas’ lower back as he grinned brightly. “You and your sister are equals, in separate ways. And you haven’t tried to kill me recently, so that gives you points in my favor.”
