#also you don't want to know how many iterations this piece already has#so many that i changed the entire composition 3 times#and then i had several breakdowns trying to get the face right#because let me tell you going from heavily stylized to my style is no fun at all#every 5 seconds im second guessing myself 'is this even the character???'#will probably go through many more fixes and iterations because I'm just broken mentally

Painting a character that means a lot to you personally is such a surreal experience. One moment you feel this very specific kind of motivational boost and you can't stop, the next moment you feel a very specific kind of art block and you are unable to touch the piece for days.

The 3 stages of rendering all at once because I'm unable to not focus on one area at a time.
Painting older faces is fun. I should practice this more.
