Benedict Cumberbatch & Claire Foy start promo for “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain”
hi, yeah it’s been a while. life’s been crazy lately – I graduated as a bachelor of arts and started my career in a creative field doing concept design and creative production.
tbh I feel like I’m at the right place in my life partly because of my previous years on tumblr. i got inspiration and learned to see new perspectives from highly talented, artistic and creative people no matter if that was a particular celeb, piece of media or one of you guys. i found my calling in video production, art, media and culture and turned out to be quite ok at it and i’m just so grateful for all that. i started this when i was in high school and now i’m turning 25 – i remember posting daily, there was fandom drama, hype, memes and whatever, but looking back at those times now, i think i wouldn’t change anything from my tumblr years, it was a fun ride to experience with all of you.
this blog will stay here, but i think i will only visit it time to time. i’ve moved on to other stuff in my life, but the memories (and yeah prob cumbebatch) will stay forever.
thank you xx

WELCOME TO THE AGE OF BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH for The Hollywood Reporter (2021) ph. Nicole Nodland
“Tenderness, surely that’s the answer and the thing that needs to be addressed,” Cumberbatch says, of parallels between his 1925 character’s repressed feelings and those of modern men. “Whether that’s raising men as feminists, whether that’s understanding that there is a reason behind your emotions … Emotions need to be addressed and understood, rather than just put out there into the world in violence or language or an action that just permeates a toxic culture.”
The TIFF Tribute Actor Award recipient for 2021
“My job is a privilege, I get to inhabit a wide variety of characters and … they’ve been an opportunity to grow as a person, and I hope, as an artist. This accolade is the icing on an already very rich cake.” - Benedict Cumberbatch
And his smile… *sigh*

“…whether they’ve come from miles, whether they put all their effort into cosplay, whether they’ve stood in line for literally days, it’s inspiring and humbling. It reminds you what it’s about.” *

“I have a very busy family life but I like to cook. I also like to surf. Yeah, I love that. (Where would you surf?) Anywhere where there’s a decent wave and a friendly crowd that will let me have a go.”
