My headcanons are getting out of control.  Obviously both Baz and Simon have part-time jobs when they’re at university.  Baz makes absurd coffee at Costa and judges people who order things he disapproves of.  Simon sells and then helps people fix their pretentious iDevices.

The Carry On Fandom: A Guide for the Absolute Beginner

Greetings, fellow snowflake! I’m Celestine and I’m here today to give you a brief introduction to this tiny, wonderful fandom.

1) There are soooo many fabulous “general fandom” blogs to follow! (i.e. not exclusively artists/ficsmiths.) I’m not going to be able to mention all of them here, but these are great to start following, then branch out from there: @snowbazrosebuds; @snowbazmysons; @fanbows; @magicathstewart; @worldofmages; @chapter-61; @snowflake-soup; @myrosebudboy; @fuckthewaveringwood; @fyeahsnowbaz; @snowbazfuckedmeup; @allaboutthatbaz; @aleistercrowleysnow; @lookoutfornumpties; and of course, the queen herself, @rainbowrowell.

2) Fanfiction. I won’t have time to go through a comprehensive list myself (there are just so many!!!) But–fanfiction goes around FAST in this fandom, and if you follow any of the above blogs, I guarantee you’ll see all the fic you’re going to need for a YEAR on your dash eventually. :) Special shoutout to @we-were-stars for some fabulous stuff! (And whoever wrote the Solstice Ball…)

3) Fanart. WE HAVE SO MUCH GORGEOUS FANART IT”S NOT EVEN FUNNY. @mitsouparker and @i-am-weis are my personal favorites. <3

4) The Ask Blogs. There. are. so. many. of. these. I believe there’s been a masterpost explaining all of them–someone please add on the link to that for me in a reblog! But they’re lots of fun, and will message you if you’re having a bad day. :)

5) The Cosplay Blogs. This is honestly my favorite part of the CO fandom on tumblr… we have amazing cosplayers! @maddieprongs is our Baz, @theofficialsimonsnow; @theofficialcherrysnow; @theofficialtrixiethepixie; @theofficialpenelopebunce are the others. Follow them, and be sure to send in asks when they’re online!!
