This is Thomas Ward. Being the seventh son of a seventh son enables Tom to see and sense things that others can't. When Tom is 12 years old he strarts his apprenticeship to the lokal spook, John Gregory. Being a spooks apprentice is hard work, you'll have to learn how to handle ghost, boggarts and even witches.. It is said that Tom will be old Gregorie's last apprentice, but also his best. But Tom needs to learn fast, the dark is growing, and its coming faster than anyone could ever imagine.. Not my story, this character design is based on the book "The Spook's Apprentice" Written by Joseph Delaney.
Have you heard of Netflix's Trollhunters? Well, I thought that it looked like it was really bad with boring character and a simple story. Turned out, I was wrong. So wrong.
I started watching it last week because I thought that the character design was really interesting and I wanted to make some studies. But I totally fell for the main character, Jim. In the first scene with him we get to see him in the kitchen making breakfast and lunch, not only for himself but for his mom and his friend Tobias. He carefully enter his mother's bedroom (who is asleep (she works a lot)) putting down her food on the counter, gives his her a kiss on the forehead and quietly whispers "I love you mom". And I don't know exactly why but after that moment I felt a strong connection with this character, hoping that nothing bad would ever happen to him. 😭❤️ Even though the main story is kind of simple, it's about light and darkness, good against evil, a chosen hero who's the only one able to save the world. It's a REALLY good story. My god. It's also about the struggles of beeing a young adult, and all the responsibilities that comes with it. It's about love and support you can find in your family and friends, finding family where you least expect it. But it also gives us a beautiful message about how we are stronger together. ❤️

First day of inktober! And I have finally chosen a theme; "female role models". And yes, I know there are mixed opinions whether Sailor Moon is a good female role model or not, but for a young Sofie, she really was. When I was a kid, most heroes on television were male, spider man, He-Man, teenage mutant Ninja turtles, etc. Sailor Moon was the hero in her show, an she was the MAIN CHARACTER. A female (!!) For me this was huge. I didn't just like her, I pretended to be her, fighting for justice, protecting the world from evil. In the name of the moon. ❤️ 🌙
