What’s this? A Barricade Day work by Far that contains absolutely no barricades, no fighting scenes or muskets, no people dying…. in fact, not a single person in sight? Well, I decided to be saintly merciful good this year. I mean, there’s no way I could possibly give anybody case of The Sads if I don’t draw anybody, much less anyone dying a horrible, painful death, right??? >:D

Hey guys,

Not my usual thing, but this is super important to me.

My friend Kaylin’s roommates accidentally poured juice on her macbook while she was working on her finals. The laptop is damaged beyond repair and no files can be retrieved from it. And while it was an accident there was no apology, and a refusal to help pay for damages.

She’s graduating this year with immediate student loans and lots of medical bills (she has a rare genetic disorder called EDS, and has had a surgery within the last year so I don’t even know how to begin to describe how high her medical expenses are).

She’s been saving for a trip to go to England for a while, tickets booked and everything. And it is so infuriating that someone else’s carelessness can create guilt about something you’ve saved and looked forward to when you hardly ever get that opportunity. Chronic pain and illness is exhausting and expensive. And for this to happen when she finally had something nice planned for herself has got to be even more exhausting.

She requested this not to be on Facebook for privacy reasons when I offered to create her a go fund me campaign, which is why I’m posting here.

Anything anyone can contribute would be so kind and helpful.

My favorite things about this are (a) Jehan dramatically swooning in his bizarre teal Outfit of Uncertain Description (b) Enjolras sitting there looking curious but unbothered, like a cat watching a human do some strange human-thing that is not yet affecting it, like this day has already been so weird, he’s just rollin’ with this (3) THE RANDOMLY ASSORTED LIMBS omg that arm sticking out is cracking me UP , I don’t even know why??
